Nothing special!

After researching for hours, we chose to drive 4 hours and bring my granddaughter here for her 7th birthday. There were recent reviews of the pool in working order and heated. Well, to my surprise, the pool was closed. So, my plans were ruined. I paid $130 for us to basically just to sleep. When a hotel advertises to have amenities, they should be in working order, or money discounts should be given. So aggravating! The bed was comfortable, though. We didn’t try breakfast because it ended pretty early for a weekend. The towels/washrags are very thin. The carpeted floors were super dirty. Our feet were dark, after only a few times walking on them. We will choose a different hotel next time. This one needs to be updated and modernized. I had such high hopes for this celebratory night, that just fizzled out.

We only stayed one night but the hotel was clean, the beds comfy and the breakfast has lots of options. The only thing we would have like to see was a plug in on the night stand. My friend used the work out facility and she was impressed by the options and loved the filtered water. We would stay here again. Great value for the price.

The property? Really? We couldn’t get service inside the hotel. No exchange of towels, no trash emptied. Really disappointing. I have stayed at other Fairfield Inns, and have had excellent accommodations. Not this one. I will say the night manager was helpful in finding us some towels, etc, and a large garbage bag to empty our trash.
