Beautiful hotel with stunning ground and excellent pools. Great location with easy walk / drive to the local village of Gennadi for excellent restaurants. Rooms and beds were absolutely 5*. Only disappointment was sun bed availability - there weren’t enough and unfortunately people reserved them before 7:30 despite signs saying this was not permitted. The only beds available had no parasol which rendered them unusable in the Greek summer heat.

I had a wonderful time at Gennadi, the rooms were great, had everything I needed and the terrific staff kindly upgraded me (thank you so much). Plentiful dining options and the food was always excellent. This is a fantastic place to decompress and relax. I want to give a special shout out to Carla, Yiannis and Konstantina (at the front desk) who went above and beyond to make my stay amazing, their positive and joyful energy was a delight to be around.

My wife & I spent our honeymoon here in August and had an amazing time. The staff were extremely friendly & helpful, the food was great and the resort was great. Multiple pool areas, plenty of sun loungers and swim up rooms available. Lots of food choices and bars on site. The resort also has a convenience store that's open all day, thats fairly priced. The resort offers excursions each day, which include cruises, trips to different islands and much more. The spa is amazing! We definitely plan to visit again.

Stayed for one week all inclusive in early June. Very little to fault at this hotel, rooms are brilliant. Food options are great and buffet is varied and of amazing quality. Evening entertainment was good as was the bar. All staff were great and service was brilliant, never had to wait for a drink in any area of the hotel. Would highly recommend.

it cost us Eu260 from the airport to the Resort , there is no Uber , the pool was clean but sometimes we saw bugs in the water and that was not a pleasant experience

Relaxed atmosphere. Everything was kept clean, spotless inside our room aswell as around the resort. The staff were very friendly & made you feel welcome. We ate in all the restaurants & also had room service & the food was excellent. I had a lovely relaxing holiday but there was also the option for my 13 year old son to be entertained. We will definitely be returning next year.

Airport terminal meets goldfish bowl - yuk

The resort is far from 5 star. It resembles an airport terminal departure lounge with absolutely no ambience whatsoever. Every restaurant feels the same with zero investment in the accessories that make a space special- be that your room where the furniture was sparse and cheap through to the public spaces and restaurants where you were treated to some variant of garden furniture on which to sit.

We had a nice time in Gennadi but it’s a good but not great hotel with some major flaws. Positives; buffet and all inclusive drinks are excellent, restaurant staff are nice and very attentive (Anna), the rooms and pool areas feel clean and modern. There is live music at breakfast, lunch and dinner which is very nice. Negatives; the hotel has no atmosphere as every available space is filled with so much furniture but almost no decorations/ cheap fake plants. So the lobby and bar area feel corporate, the main restaurant feels like a canteen with ridiculously bright lights and the grounds have neglected planting areas. The a la carte food was a bit hit and miss and there is very limited drink choice at the buffet dinner. The reception service was shockingly bad; took forever to get an answer and was dismissive. E.g, I told reception that I hurt my foot, could barely walk and asked for first aid bandage and I was told I should go to the mini mart as they had run out !! Some of the rooms have bad views, either over adjacent scrub land or directly onto a bush. And for families with babies there are NO rooms with baths, so you are given a tiny baby bath that you need to use in the shower. The rooms are fully open plan to the bathroom so once your baby is asleep in the room you cannot do anything in the bathroom without waking them up. Overall, I am sure if you go to Gennadi Grand resort you will have a nice time but all the negatives add up and prevent it from being a great hotel.

Amazing own Poolrooms, great food

Amazing Resort, de food is outstsnding and the service staff very lovely. I got a free upgrade to seaview with my own pool instead of own pool without seaview. Cause of the locations of the room you don't have sun for too long in October on your terrasse which I found very sad, about lunchtime will be shade, but pool still in the sun. The rooms are so nice, very comfortable bed. They sadly don't refill the minibar. The one thing I didn't like, after checkin, I had to get my stuff from the parkinglot. Than they explained me where my room is, without telling me about the upgrade why I was double confused where to find my room. The seaview rolms are not visible from the main area and I walked around, completely lost with all my baggage. That is not 5star service A guy from the pool Restaurant than brought me to my room as you need to know where to go down on that level where these rooms are. Beside this, everything was very nice, also good evening programms. The buffetrestaurant had a bit special food, was sometimes hard to find things I liked and sometimes not that warm. For 6 nights I could go to one of the a la carte Restaurants for dinner 2. The food you get there, also lunchoptions was very good! Beach is not nice, not like on pictures, wouldn't stay for beachvacations, but the poolrooms are cool, no besch needed.

Positives 1. Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially the girls working the main bar in the evening and those at the customer service desk. 2. The à la carte restaurant food was amazing. 3. The cocktails at the evening bar were fabulous. 4. The desserts were incredible every single day and beautifully designed. 5. The hotel is very modern, and ordering to your sunbed via the app is great. 6. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. 7. The spa is gorgeous, and the gym is well-equipped. 8. There's a good shop on-site for anything you might need. Negatives 1. The buffet, especially dinner, was never warm enough. 2. There were ants throughout the resort. We had to move rooms because of this issue and were downgraded from a suite to a junior suite without a refund. Upon checkout, they gave us a late checkout worth 40 euros, which didn't cover the cost difference but was better than nothing. I understand this is nature and they are trying to address it, but it was very annoying when outside. 3. The room design was odd. The shower is right by the door entrance with no ventilation, and the toilet is separate with a sewage drain that had a bad smell. The cleaners kept putting the bin over the drain to block the smell. 4. There wasn't enough storage in the rooms for two people, with only one drawer available. 5. The staff at the front desk were not very friendly and a bit dismissive. 6. The rooms were not super clean. Although modern, we noticed that

Eine schöne Anlage mit sehr nettem Personal! Die privaten Pools könnten eine Grundreinigung vertragen, da sind einige Ecken, die länger nicht mehr gereinigt wurden. Das Frühstück war eher 4 Sterne Niveau, es gab keinen guten Saft, ganz billige Sirupware, sonst gute Auswahl. Der frisch gepresste Oragensaft musste zusätzlich bezahlt werden, hatte ich noch nie in einem 5 Sterne Hotel in Griechenland. Anstelle dessen gab es gute Smoothies. Poolanlagen gut, aber tendenziell zu wenig Liegen. Der Strand hat groben Kies, sodass Wasserschuhe ratsam sind. Dafür wunderbar klares Meerwasser. Leider hat man die Straße doch ziemlich stark gehört.

Den Resort an sich fand ich traumhaft alles perfekt und alles dabei von Essen in verschiedenen Buffets zu Massagen zu Meer zu pool main pool und private pool zu zum Personal superrrrrrr personal alle lächelnd und sehr nett und hilfsbereit überall. Im resort ist alles super da ist ebenfalls ein kipsk und apotheke im resort. Aber leider ist die Gegend vom Resort eine 3/10 da in der gegend nur ein kleines dorf ist wo ein supermarkt und vielleicht 2-3 resaturants und das 20 minuten zu fuß was bei der hitze anstrengend war und der Wind dort im Resort ist sehr stark weil da klar berge sind und so sodass man kaum z.b aktivitäten wie tischtennis oder federball spielen konnte. Aber ansonsten ist der Resorr super.

Das Zimmer mit privatem Pool war sehr schön und sonnig, aber leider nicht wirklich privat. Von oben und von links und rechts konnte man uneingeschränkt auf das Nachbarzimmer schauen. Das hatten wir in anderen Hotels besser. Der Zimmerservice war zu Beginn nicht gut. Es haben Sachen gefehlt und auch das Bett war schmutzig. Auf unsere Beanstandung wurde aber sofort reagiert und wir hätten sogar ein kostenloses Mittagessen haben können. Es wurde sich bemüht eine Lösung zu finden und die Dame an der Rezeption war unheimlich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Nach der Beanstandung war alles einwandfrei was den Zimmerservice angeht. Das Essen war sowohl zum Frühstück als auch zum Abendbuffet unfassbar lecker, abwechslungsreich und qualitativ hochwertig. Auch der Service war stets freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch an Erlebnissen im Hotel selber wurde viel angeboten (Sterne schauen, professionelle Fotos uvm.) Das Hotel selber hat wirklich einiges zu bieten aber der Strand gefiel uns überhaupt nicht. Für uns als Paar , welches etwas Ruhe wollte war es abends aber zwischendurch noch zu laut und auch mit den Zimmernachbarn muss man Glück haben. Einige Tage hatten wir ein Kleinkind und ein Baby nebenan , welche natürlich etwas lauter waren. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Urlaub, wir würden aber nicht nochmal wieder kommen.
