Amazing location

This place is great for a quick visit to Pompeii! The location is unbeatable with the ruins right across the street. The air conditioning was great too. Only complaint was that the beds are very hard. Otherwise, great stay!

We loved Kiara's service. She is magnificent. Besides being a great host, she has a beautiful dog called Monet. I believe her dog is her inspiration for the great paintings she has all around the property. The property is so convenient because is just like 50 meters from one of the entrances to Pompeii.

We traveled to the area with friends who had booked at a different hotel just down the street from Il Vecchio Fauno. We stayed here (there was no vacancy at the hotel where our friends were), and were pleased with the experience. Our room was spacious, had a lovely balcony to sit on and look out over a boulevard, and the bed was comfortable. It is located an easily walkable distance from the ruins, and there are lots of shops and cafes to choose from. The check-in was a bit different than what I'm used to (it's a self check-in system), and the owners were very patient with my questions and provided excellent directions as to how to access the property. We absolutely would stay here again.

Hotel liegt direkt gegenüber der Ausgrabungsstätte Pompei. Gastronomie, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Bahnhof sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Geräumiges, sauberes Zimmer - für eine Städterreise ideal und auch das Personal ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und gibt gerne Tips und Empfehlungen z.B. für Ausflüge, etc. Das einzige, was mich enttäuscht hat: Das Frühstück! Für Menschen, die gerne süß Frühstücken ist es ok, nur für die Liebhaber des Herzhaften, mit lediglich einer Sorte Käse und 1-2 Sorten Aufschnitt zu Toast, leider nicht sehr abwechslungsreich.

Hôtel très charmant ,décoré avec les belles peintures de Chiara. Nous avons passé 10 jours dans cet établissement . C'était parfait ! Hôtel situé à quelques pas de l'une des entrées du site archéologique de Pompéi (entrée amphithéâtre) et à quelques minutes de marche des différentes gares et restaurants de Pompéi. Petit-déjeuner parfait et complet (café, cappuccino, thé,lait, jus d'orange, pâtisseries napolitaines, pain de mie, jambon...).Si vous venez en voiture, parking gratuit. El Hotel está muy bien ubicado! Lamentablemente, lo que reservamos no es lo que recibimos... una habitación amplia sin ganchos de closet, caja suelta, un micro baño en el que ni entrar podía (no soy obeso pero si alto y apenas pude entrar) no hay forma de bañarse pues no hay espacio para enjabonarse ni para poner jabón o shampoo, a pesar de que él área es mayor. El desayuno que cobran es malo y el último día estaba cerrado, fue la muy amable señora que ases cuartos la que nos atendió. Por ningún motivo regresaría!!

Passamos apenas uma noite. Fomos bem recebidas, quarto aconchegante. Um belo lance de escadas, mas obtivemos ajuda com as malas. O chuveiro esquentou no início, mas depois só água fria. O café da manhã foi simples mas satisfatório. A recompensa foi a gentileza do pessoal.

Trevligt hotell med bra läge

Trevligt hotell, väldigt hjälpsam och trevlig personal. Lång trappa till ingången, ingen hiss. Kan vara bra att veta om man har svårt att gå eller reser med barnvagn. Det enda negativa skulle jag säga är att det är hårda sängar. Ligger väldigt nära Pompeji-ruinerna. I övrigt så finns det inte så mycket i stan, rekommenderar ett par dagar här för att se ruinerna.

Non male, ma non torneremo

Stanza molto accogliente e posizione perfetta per visitare gli scavi di Pompei; purtroppo soffitti molto alti e condizionatore non funzionante, ci sono volute ore prima che la stanza si scaldasse con solo uno scaldino elettrico (dato per il bagno). Dalla reception l’unica cosa che sono stati in grado di fare è stato darci una coperta in più (abbiamo soggiornato due notti quindi se avessero avuto un tecnico dei condizionatori da contattare avrebbe avuto tutto il tempo per sistemare la cosa). Dulcis in fundo rientrando la seconda sera all’una di notte una macchina parcheggiata davanti al passo carrabile! Abbiamo chiamato il numero del b&b e ci è stato detto o di chiamare i vigili o di chiedere nei locali accanto! Il bello è che sapeva esattamente chi era perché dopo un minuto è arrivato un tipo scusandosi e dicendo che sono amici! Potete immaginare all’una di notte quando ce ne potesse fregare e avevamo anche già chiamato la polizia! Mi dispiace perché la posizione e il parcheggio all’interlo lo rendono un posto comodissimo, ma penso proprio che non ci vedranno mai più!

Excellent

Nous n’avons passé qu’une nuit mais tout s’est très bien passé. Le gérant, très amical, nous a très bien accueilli et bien aidé pour le dîner et pour la visite du site de Pompéi. L’endroit est tout neuf, situé juste en face du site. Les chambres sont spacieuses, avec des volets roulants électriques, ce qui permet de ne pas être gêné par la lumière. La literie est confortable. Il y a en plus un parking gratuit.

I had great time at 11 Vecchio Fauno. It's located across from Scavia Pompeii. The Church and square is within walking distance, There are many chooses for restaurants close by. I would highly recommend this hotel. Wanted to see Mnt. Vesuvius but it was raining.
