Upon our arrival for check-in, I was greeted by the front desk clerk, but she informed me that I needed to check in online with someone else. I ended up communicating with a representative from another country via FaceTime. While she assisted me with the check-in process, I felt uneasy about her taking a picture of my ID, but I went along with it. Eventually, I received a small receipt with my room number and details.
The hotel appeared clean as we made our way to the room, but I noticed that the elevator was off balance and made strange noises, suggesting it needed maintenance. When we reached our room, we were surprised to find it located behind a trailer park, which we hadn't anticipated—our oversight for not researching the area before booking. The room itself was tidy, but there was some black mold starting to form in the shower. Additionally, we were provided with only two towels for our stay, and the air conditioning unit was quite loud. The bathroom door also made a frustrating noise, and we could hear rowdy guests in the hallway.
Breakfast was average at best, which is what I expected. The bar and restaurant next to the hotel felt outdated and unusual; if you enjoy that kind of atmosphere, it might be acceptable. However, the food was mediocre and overpriced.
