Let me pre-face by saying this place was a budget friendly option and expectations were low…
Check in was easy enough, they gave us keys and charged us for the city tax. Originally we’d booked a triple room, this then turned to a room with 1 queen bed and 1 single bed. When I emailed to find out why, they said they don’t have triple rooms. So reluctantly I booked a second room. The original room had 3 beds when we arrived… so the second room wasn’t needed in the end, but since it was paid for we used it.
The rooms are basic, the showers are small and the shower head wasn’t attached in one room. Both rooms had poop in the toilet and one smelled so bad it was hard to stay in there with the windows closed.
Last kicker is the front door/room key thing. You have to hand over all access to your room when you leave the hotel. There’s no safe for passports etc.
their receptionist locks the front door each time too, so try not to leave when they go for a coffee break. We ended up locked inside the hotel for 15minutes when they did. Only the receptionist had the key, the cleaners couldn’t even let us out.
In summary, it’s a crappy budget hotel that looks similar to the pictures shown, the metro connections are good and there’s plenty of shops and cafes nearby
