The Franklin hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was a king on the 4th floor and it was very clean and spacious. The dining in the Legends downstairs is top notch food and service! Very convenient to everything you need in Deadwood.

Great Experience We ere greeted as soon as the door opened help with our luggage explained some history of property. Will stay there agin enjoyed Deadwood alot. Rooms were spotless . Didn't get a chance to eat at the Steakhouse looks great.

Great location and beautiful room with windows looking down the historic main street. Two small things kept me from giving it 5 stars. One, the bathroom was very small, which by itself is fine but they just didn't have it well appointed to make good use of what space they had. And two, the hallway smelled strongly of cat urine. No smell in the room, but maybe those historic hallway carpets need to go.

The historic hotel was beautiful. I loved the character of the place. The room was on the smaller side but updated and nice. The room had high ceilings and large windows. The steakhouse was really good for breakfast and dinner. Would definitely stay here again. The parking down the street wasn’t ideal but it worked fine.

The hotel was lovely! It was recently remodeled, and our room was really nice. The only thing is that there is only one bathroom and one door, which was in one of the bedrooms (we rented a 2-room suite). In short, my friend had to go through our bedroom to use the restroom, which can be awkward. The staff members were absolutely awesome! The front door staff was consistently helpful and friendly.

It’s an older hotel but the rooms were okay. The Legends restaurant is very good. Great food and service. Front desk staff very good and love the shuttle service from the parking lot back to hotel. In the bar they need to clean their tap beer taps. The beer was smelling stale. Loved the balcony lounge area over looking downtown.

The Franklin Hotel, was great , the place had been renovated but keep all the original charm of the original building. We stayed in a third floor suite over looking the town spare. The staff were very friendly and helpful with ideas to explore the area. We ate a the hotel’s restaurant call Legends steakhouse . The service was great and the food was excellent.
