My husband recently stayed here for one night and had a very pleasant experience overall. The bed and breakfast was exceptionally clean, quaint, and quiet, making it a nice place to relax and unwind. Parking was easy, with plenty of available street parking nearby. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, which added to the charm of the stay. The location was also convenient, being close to downtown and a store where snacks and other essentials could be purchased. A thoughtful touch was the small refrigerator on the main floor stocked with complimentary wine and water for guests. There were only a couple of minor drawbacks. The room would have benefited from having a pen and notepad available. Additionally, the bathroom sink was quite small, and the glass shelf extending from the corner above it created a hazard—it would be easy to bump your head while bending down to wash your face. Breakfast was good, and Betty prepared a delicious vegetable frittata along with coffee cake. While both were enjoyable, it would have been nice to have an additional breakfast option for guests who do not prefer eggs, such as pancakes or another alternative. Overall, this was a lovely getaway with attentive hosts, a comfortable atmosphere, and several thoughtful amenities. We would certainly consider staying again.
