Had a very short cosy stay for a work event at The Running Horses. It was unfortunately a little too cosy for the heatwave as there was no a/c but just a little fan in the room. The bed was very comfy, loved the bathroom - was very clean and some lovely complimentary toiletries. Thank you!

Charming little pub with lots of cool original features. Large bedroom and a comfortable bed. Everything works really well. Now, the food at this place is honestly on another level. I have never had any food inside a pub this good. This pub is well known for serving up some of the best food. Locals are highly complimentary about the dining experience here.

The room was spotless and staff extremely courteous. The floors in the common areas —stone and carpets were very dirty, so a good shampoo or replacement of the carpeting is in order. The muck in the corners of the entranceway, hallways and bar was particularly problematic. The staff was amazing, as was the service and food!!
