Shuttle from ferry is needed

They upgraded our room so we had a mini suite and it was nice. Beachfront is difficult to enter the water. Go to the beach to the left as you face the water. Pool is very small for a larger resort. Buffet had a lot of choices but the a lot of the same food for all three meals (many breakfast items that we would consider lunch or dinner). Most buffet hot items were cold by the time you served yourself, even if you were there at the start. We enjoyed the wine on tap! Biggest issue for us is the lack of transportation to the hotel. An all inclusive hotel should offer a free shuttle from the ferry. We've stayed at many over the years and they always had transportation included so we found this frustrating. It costs us 30 Euro for a 10 minute taxi from the Stari Grad ferry dock to the resort. It is relatively isolated so this really should be offered all inclusive.

There was no parking avail on arrival. Many spaces being used by day trippers wanting access to the beach area. The room was very small and very dirty. Stains on carpet, black mold on wall and floor. Did not look like the photos on hotels.com. Does not deserve the guest rating nor being presented as an aminess quality hotel. Looked at a second room that they cleaned for my viewing which took an hour and it was no better. I asked for a total release from my reservation which the manager would not grant. I was told I would have a 1 night room fee penalty which I will fight.

Family resort, all inclusive type so kids everywhere, mad rush to buffet etc, you know the type. Single bedroom was a child bed, not comfortable at all. Super noisy neighbours / not sure of sound proofing between rooms, if any. Friendly and accommodating reception staff.

Great location and views

Lovely hotel with great views through pine trees. Location is brilliant - tucked away, but walking distance to Vrboska. We only had B&B, so can't comment on dinner food, but breakfast was very good, maybe apart from cappuccino ;) Staff was very helpful. We are planning to go back next year. Note: Disable people or those with prams might find it difficult to get to some areas, as the hotel has been built on a hill.
