10/10 Exceptional

We’re so impressed with the cleanliness of the room and the facility as a whole. Plus the kindness of the staff is unmatched. The included breakfast was excellent and we were able to washed our clothes as we’re having our breakfast. The location is ideal as it is near to major shopping centre.

local trip with the family

Good basic place to stay in the center of the city. Walking distance to 3 malls and plenty of good restaurants.

2/10 Poor

The young man at the front desk told our family, including our infant son, that we had to wait 30 minutes before check-in. Instead of allowing us to sit comfortably in the hotel lobby, he instructed us to wait at a restaurant across the street. It was 35°C (95°F) outside! Apparently, this hotel believes families traveling with babies should wait elsewhere rather than use its lobby. To make matters worse, the same employee then demanded a security deposit in cash. When we finally entered our room, the problems continued. We found empty alcohol bottles left behind by previous guests, suggesting the room had not been properly inspected or cleaned. There was no toilet paper, tissues, or napkins. The room temperature was 27°C (80.6°F), and the refrigerator was turned off. After traveling with an infant, we expected basic cleanliness, reasonable comfort, and professional hospitality. Instead, we encountered an unwelcoming front desk, poor housekeeping, and a room that was not properly prepared for guests. A hotel that cannot provide toilet paper or allow a family with a baby to wait in its lobby has serious problems with basic hospitality. I would not recommend 1A Hotel, especially to families traveling with young children

Amazing staff but not worth the price

Good location and great staff. Also very clean! Price wise, its not worth the 100usd per night rate, breakfast is mediocre. If the price were about 60usd then it would be perfect.

Generally good

Breakfast is good. Staff were very nice. However, the internet was pretty slow. Towels are not desirable. They are old and need to be replaced.

The facility is clean and the staff is excellent. The only downside is it can be a little noisy from other guests in the hallway. I would definitely stay again.

Nice little hotel. Within walking distance of shopping and dining. Staff was very nice and very helpful. Room was nice. Don’t forget to ask for slippers and toothbrush. Not in the room but provided once you ask. Don’t expect a big breakfast buffet but was very satisfying. And again friendly staff. Will definitely stay again next time I visit.

Location was excellent. Not quite the most quality breakfast of a continental breakfast that was supposed to be included. I would recommend eating out if possible.

Average room not thrilling at all

The hotel room was quite small. The amenities were not great. Never told us there was free breakfast until checking out. AC was mediocre

4/10 Fair

If you want the auditory experience of being in Times Square, this is the place. The word loud does not even cover this place. On the positive, this property is smack between two malls. It does not get more centralized than this in C.D.O.
