This was an excellent option for an overnight stop. No frills and a little run down, but the beds were comfy and AC cold! Suited our needs and fairly priced.

We came to De Leon for a short, overnight stay. Like other reviews stated, the room was basic and clean. The air condition was nice and cold during these June high temperatures. The lady at the desk was nice and helpful. When we had trouble turning on the TV she came to our room and got it going. I would stay again for another short overnight stay.

Our stay overall was okay. The room was clean and we didn’t have any serious issues. However the staff wasn’t helpful. Check in was difficult, we were placed in the front of the hotel, right next to the highway, when there were lots of options open in the back, away from the highway. We asked for extra towels our second day and the staff simply said they replaced them that morning (we hadn’t used any towels yet and simply wanted a few more since we only had two and there were four of us staying there). We also asked for shampoo and soap and the staff said they don’t offer that as an amenity. Again, overall the stay was okay. But the staff could definitely step up their customer service skills and offer more of the basic amenities you usually expect from a hotel.

Room 101 was all in order except one minor problem that did not really affect me: the spigot for the bathtub was not firmly attached. The family-style restaurant a few steps away was decent for Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast.

We have stayed at DeLeon previously and booked again for our visit. The inn keeper, Daniel, was a delight, always maki g sure we had everything we needed. And Blue was a very good girl.😁 we will stay there again

This was an older very basic motel, however we found the room to be very clean and the beds were comfortable, we checked in late and got up early on a drive home for Thanksgiving —-and for the price it suited our needs just fine. Small safe little town, not tons of dining options but if you need an overnight stay, book here. No frills but clean safe place to rest. Would stay again.

Helpful staff. Clean room. My room was right by the highway so the road construction equipment was an early alarm clock unfortunately. However, most rooms were further away from the main road. Good A/C. Comfortable stay overall.
