Great location! Small and basic but perfect for an easy night or 2 in Barcelona. Clean bed, clean bathroom, clean towels what more can you ask for? Great location, 15-40 min(max) walk towards most sight seeing. 25 min drive from airport and 25 drive to cruise port. Lovely reception staff and door staff, self check in was really easy. Only thing I would say is a lack of kettle / tea coffee for a hot beverage in the morning. Would recommend for location and value for money.

The room was very clean and the staff were great. The location was good as well. I was happy to find a small fridge. We were taken aback by how small the room was. Not much bigger than the bed. The staff was great! The neighborhood is nice and quiet in the morning. After 9 am or so, the city starts to awaken. In the early evening it truly comes to life. There are couples and friends out for a bite or a drink, or both during the evening hours. Many people in Barcelona smoke. So be prepared for that outside at the tables on the streets. It’s not a problem indoors. The elevator in the hotel was not in service. This was a problem for my brother who has mobility issues. Fortunately, the hotel is only one floor up from the street. We loved the little balcony with a table and chairs. We ate our dinners out there (sandwiches and chips). Our room room key stopped working on our second evening, but someone came within 20 minutes to fix the issue so that we could go out for a drink and a snack. There are shops, restaurants and little markets everywhere. We recognized Lidl and Aldi, but there are other slightly larger markets as well. They are all listed as “supermarkets,” but be aware they are not super-sized. Perhaps they mean super in terms of quality. (You can judge the quality for yourself.) Public toilets are hard to find in most parts of the city, but most restaurants have clean toilets for customers. Bring some toilet paper with you. Some places lack it. The toilet in our room was very nice. Showers in Europe typically are not completely enclosed. Just take care where you aim the water.
