Good location

Great location near the S-bahn, nice sized rooms, good hot shower and comfy beds. Plenty of cupboard space, friendly staff and there was a safe in the room which was useful. Only slight issue was that we couldnt get the air con to work and it was pretty hot throughout the night, but the windows opened for a breeze at least.

The only thing a huge let down is their terrible wifi connection and as an outsider you need it all the time. Otherwise room was good and spacious, staff were ok and the breakfast was great! There is a huge train station near by - Berlin Gesundbrunnen - and a huge mall surrounding it. Very well connected to Alexanderplatz, heart of Berlin from where you can go to almost all points of interest. Recommend. Will stay again provided they improve the wifi.

The hotel was fine with very friendly staff. However, it is very misleading when they indicate a kitchenette. It comprises of cupboards, kettle for tea/ instant coffee and very small fridge. No other appliances or dishes are provided……not a toaster or microwave. If you would like these, we were told that it would be an additional 30 euros a day. I was very disappointed as I booked this hotel because of the kitchenette since we were spending 11 days in Berlin. Had I known in advance, I likely wouldn’t have switched hotels since the one I had previously booked included a full kitchen. The extra fee was not indicated in the property details. I had to scroll to find it.

So I would like to start with saying, the staff was very friendly, I was not too intimidated to ask for help. The room was very nice, AC worked splendidly, bed was clean and comfy. I did find a few silverfish upon my arrival but not too bothered by it. My only issue is the errors made had me worried if my belongings were very safe. When I checked in, I paid for early check in and was given a key. However, I was given the key to an occupied room and was met by an unhappy resident (understandbly). So I went straight to the reception and was given a new room - however due to this error I refused to keep anything valueable like my passport in my room unattended. 2nd Issue was when I was given a new room, I wasnt checked in correctly meaning there was a potential for someone to enter my room due to the system showing the room unoccupied and booked for someone else. I only knew about this as I couldnt log into the wifi using my name and room name, when queried a new staff member informed me. This again puts into question this hotel rooms security as i had my room card for 7 hours but the system showed i wasnt checked in.

Kontakt zum Personal hatten wieder leider kaum, da wir den check in als auch den check out selbstständig machen musste. Bei der Ankunft kam der Rezeptionist mit uns ins Hotel, er hat direkt vor der Tür geraucht und den ganzen Zigarettengestank mit rein gebracht. Der Müll würde vom Reinigungspersonal mitgenommen, die Betten allerdings nicht gemacht. Das ganze Apartment sah schon sehr heruntergekommen aus, viele Flecken und Schrammen an den Wänden und Wasserflecken auf der Küchenplatte. Die "Küche" bestand aus leeren Schränken, einem winzigen Kühlschrank, einem Wasserkocher und zwei Bechern. Es gab ansonsten kein Geschirr oder Besteck, sodass die Küche völlig nutzlos war. Für dnw Preis erwarten wir etwas anderes und einem Teil des Geldes zurück. Es waren zwei Fernseher vorhanden, beide von sehr schlechter Tonqualität. Positiv hervorzuheben ist, dass das Bett gemütlich war, allerdings hatte das Bettlaken zwei Orange Flecken, die das Reinigungspersonal beim Beziehen gesehen haben muss. Alles in Allem war der Aufenthalt okay, da wir die meiste Zeit in der Stadt verbracht haben. Sie Lage des Hotels war der zentral, sodass man schnell bei der Haltestelle Gesundbrunnen war.

Worst stay EVER

Our stay was the nights of September 27 & 28, 2025. Today 9/29 woke first night 02:00 AM being eaten alive by bed bugs. took pics of the bed bugs and went to reception. They apologized and gave me another room. That room was not clean. I opened the door and beds weren’t made or anything. Went back again and they gave me a third room. He went with me this time. We checked the new room for bugs and cleanliness. While checking the bed I found trash under the mattress. A used bottle of water and a wadded up napkin of some sort. The mattress cover had stains on it. He said it was the last room they had so we had no choice. By this time it was 03:00 AM and instead of sleeping, we are moving around the hotel and scratching numerous itchy areas of our bodies. He also came back to our original room and saw the infestation and the blood in the bed for himself and took pictures of the bite marks on my arms. But there are others on my inner thigh. The employees ensured me management would contact me to make things right. But it hasn’t happened yet. One of the things the guy said on that night was that we didn’t have to worry about our other clothes and luggage because bed bugs stay with the bed. That is not true. We needed to rewash and dry on extremely high heat to ensure our clothes were not infested. We absolutely could not sleep after that. Not the same night and not much better the second night. Much more to say but I only have 53 characters left of what I’m allowed to write here.

Practical location. Disappointing inventory.

Practical location very close to international trainstation Gesundbrunnen. Disappointed over inventory. We were 4 people, but only had 2 cups, 2 glases and 3 chairs. There is very much space in wardrobe and kitchen. But wardrobe had zero hangers. Kitchen had zero cutlery, only waterboiler. There is nothing to cook in or on. If you want microwave or anything else you must pay extra. Very small fridge in the size of minibar. Did not match rest of kitchen. Clean and tidy. Friendy reseption in hotelbuilding. Easy checkout.
