The guesthouse is a beautiful old building and the staff person was kind and helpful. A guaranteed parking spot was $30. Street parking was sparce but also highly time constricted. The only funny thing is that the rooms are sparcly accessorize (lights, tables) by the cheapest light plastic furniture which kept tipping over. Otherwise the location is convenient.

Spacious, bright, clean, comfortable room. Short walk to the lake in the Paradiso area and abot 15mims easy walk along the lakeside to Lugano centre. The Guest House is a lot better on the inside than it looks on the outside!! We opted to pay for parking space at the guest house €20 euros. Street an meter parking is nightmare in Lugano area but there are several pay parking garages fairly close by. We would stay there again if the xhance arose.

Good location by a bus stop. Beds in one area, small kitchenette area, and bathroom. All of the essentials. The air conditioning could have been better, but if you’re on a higher floor where you can open a window it probably would have been fine. Our first level room was right against the outside sidewalk.

Great hotel in between Lugano and Paradiso that is easily walkable to both. Parking in the area is a bit tricky but we opted to pay for the hotel's parking and just walk around during our stay. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was spacious enough with comfortable beds and a decent size bathroom. The mini fridge was also quite large and came in super handy to keep our food cool which we purchased from a nearby grocery store. Only thing I wished was different would be to include some basic amenities in the kitchen like cutlery and a coffee machine with pods (i.e. Nespresso or other). We weren't planning to cook any food but would've been nice to have a coffee in the morning and be able to eat some snacks from the store without needing to rely on our own disposable cutlery.

Overall a good stay, the location was brilliant for walking to town and getting transport. However, hidden costs involved such as cooking equipment and cleaning equipment. Air con was a hit or miss, overall a little pricey but generally okay.

The location is very nice. It’s right across the bus stop. The best part about this hotel is the free laundry, we really really like that. The front desk they were helpful. They allow you to leave your luggage which I like a lot. What we absolutely hate is that there’s no coffee not even simple coffee. You have to pay for coffee downstairs from a vending machine. This is for me ridiculous coffee is basic necessity at any hotel. I also hate the fact that the AC unit is so old that it really didn’t work very well. It was so difficult to sleep at night. It wasn’t cold enough. The guy was very helpful. He came to help us reset it but it just was a very antiquated AC unit and they should really replace that.

Rarely do I give a bad review, but this Hôtel warrants one. First, Expedia states shuttle available (for a fee) and that is not the case. This is really a step up from a hostel. Bare minimum. We booked a queen bed, got a double. This hotel is for those looking for a bed to sleep and shower. The staff were great- helpful.

Basic property about a mile from the train station in Lugano with limited dining options nearby. Our room had 2 beds and a small kitchenette with almost no dishes (so if you want to actually use the kitchenette you’ll need to bring your own). The stay was comfortable for the price, but rooms are on a busy street so it gets quite loud if a window is open. I would not recommend this stay to light sleepers!

We stayed at this hotel for one night on our journey from Lake Como to Zurich. Website information is little misleading that this location is walkable to Lugano train station. But its 1.5 km from station, but there is bus stop opposite to the hotel. This looked like apartment coverted to hotel. very basic ameneties. Hotel staff was good and provided details for late check in, but did not give correct details about bus in the morning to go to train station. One couple helped us in the morning with bus details and we were able to reach station on time to catch 6:35 am train. It is very hard to find cab in this area. Bus is preferable, so please make sure you have enough details about bus schedules. I would not recommend this hotel until you have very short stay to catch an early train.
