This is a quirky little hotel which has quite a late check-in at 6 pm. However when we phoned there was somebody with us within five minutes to provide us the key. Location is really central and our room was sufficient but not huge, however we were only there for a couple of nights and it was fine. There was a great little restaurant just around the corner where we had an evening meal at 6 pm. It was quite busy so you may have to be book in advance.

L’Esprit Sain was an adequate place to stay while visiting Malmedy, and its central location made it convenient for exploring the town and surrounding area. The staff was pleasant during check-in, and the breakfast each morning was enjoyable, offering a nice selection to start the day. If you’re looking for a simple place to spend the night while sightseeing, it serves its purpose. That said, there were a few aspects that kept the experience from being exceptional. The room was quite dark, even during the day, making it feel a bit less inviting. If we opened the window or exposed the window by raising the light block, the temp of the room skyrocketed. There was no air conditioning, which made the room uncomfortably hot at times, resulting in not as comfortable as we had hoped for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, our stay was okay, but with a few improvements, L’Esprit Sain could provide a much more enjoyable guest experience.

Nice accomodation in center of city

Very nice accomodation in city center, we had the superior room which is spacious, nice beds and was renovated The breakfast was awesome with home made food, the owner is very friendly and helpful. We could store our bicycles in the private garage ahead of check in time, als we could enter the room earlier. The restaurant of the hotel is also recommemded

Geen receptie, dus bij aankomst een nummer dat op de voordeur staat bellen en dan krijg je de code van een sleutelkluis. Kamer had uitzicht tegen een muur/dak op 2 meter van het raam. Alle wanden in alle ruimten donkerbruin geverfd, zeker niet zo fris en modern als op de foto's te zien is bij deze accomodatie. Geen douche, alleen een bad zonder gordijn met douchekop. Badkamer is groter dan de slaapkamer. Vloer kraakt en piept op de meest indrukwekkende manieren onder het lopen. Ligging zeer gunstig midden in het centrum en allerlei voorzieningen in de directe nabijheid. Prima voor 1 of 2 nachten als je niet te veeleisend bent.

Niemand aanwezig. Gewoon gesloten! Geen enkele uitleg hoe aan de sleutel te komen! Uiteindelijk een nummer gebeld wat op de deur stond en kregen daardoor pas na 18.00 u een code om binnen te komen. Zo naar en onpersoonlijk om in een donker hotel je kamer te zoeken, met een uitzicht wat je je ergste vijand nog niet toewenst, een blinde nare muur/schacht waar alle leidingen op uitkwamen!! Badkamer zeer gedateerd. Oud bad om te douchen zonder gordijn! Nooit meer dit hotel, dat mag duidelijk zijn!

Alle tiders lille hotel.

Det er et fint lille hotel. Pænt dobbeltværelse med eget bad og toilet. Morgenmads buffet incl, med pænt udvalg. Yderst gæstfri værtspar og pænt og rent alle steder. Lækker restaurant i hotellet . Kort køre afstand til spa f1 bane, som var vores mål med opholdet.

Meget dyrt og dårligt hotel.

Toilettet var placeret mellem væg og badekar så det var umuligt at bruge. Brusebadet foregik i badekar uden forhæng, så vandet sprøjtede hele badeværelset til. Der var intet personale ved ankomsten. Der var ingen aircondition. Morgenmaden var elendig i forhold til den pris vi havde betalt. Vi havde booket 3 værelser til 4 personer, men har betalt for 6 personer. På afrejsedagen havde hotellet automatisk trukket alle pengene på et kort.

Accueil sympa. Rénovation superficielle mais salle de bains ancienne, porte de douche cassée, fenêtres non isolantes phoniquement, pas de VMC. Petit déjeuner correct. salle de restaurant agréable.
