When the taxi 1st pulled up to the gate of the property, we wondered what we had gotten into. It is a street with a lot of graffiti, but then most of Milan is sadly like that. And we wondered how safe the area was. However we met the owner and he led us through the security gate, the secure entrance, and got on the tiny elevator going up 3 floors. Once we got in the office, things seemed much nicer! The lady, possibly the owner’s wife, was super nice and helpful! The rooms all opened into the combined office/breakfast area. The room was super nice, comfortable, and had good air conditioning (appreciated during the middle of the heat wave). The bed was very comfortable, and the amenities were great. The breakfast was amazing!!!! There were juices, bread, meats, cheeses, fruits, fresh coffee or cappuccino, and a fresh-made custom omelet which was delicious!!! They were very helpful with giving a map and directions. The subway stop was about 1/2 block away, and once you figure out the subway system, it is very convenient and easy to get around the city. Overall a great place to stay and would definitely return if we ever go to Milan again!!!!

The B&B is situated a little off the old town but the metro station is 2 min walk. It takes about 6 stops to Duomo. We walked from Milan train station and it took 20 minutes, which was not too bad. The room was basic but all we needed was a bed and a shower, so we got what we paid for. The breakfast is served in common area and had all essentials: ham, salami, eggs, yogurt, French fruit, pastry, coffee to your liking. The staff was super helpful and professional. There was a little noise coming from the street but we were too tired every evening to be disturbed by it.

The building access is not very convenient but the instructions were very useful. I had a room with a private bathroom and a common kitchen that you’re not allowed to use. Great family run B & B. They were so helpful telling us info about Milan and giving us extra food to take with us on our onwards journey. You get a great selection at breakfast and plenty of it too! Quiet at night and lovely spacious room for sleeping. Very quirky Italian room which was very clean.

We unfortunately only stayed for one night on a transit through Milan, but cannot fault this B&B and would have happily stayed longer. Communication with the owner was great. Clear instructions. Room was comfortable and well appointed. Thought and care have definitely gone into this property. Everything felt very homely and personal. The owner found out we weren't staying for breakfast due to our early morning train, so went to the trouble of putting together a care package of rolls and treats for our travels (checking prior to see what we wanted on our rolls!). A little far from the train station to walk, especially felt a little unsafe with just myself and teenage daughter at night, but taxis easy to get and cost about 12euros.
