The room was excellent. The location was amazing. This was the anchor stay for a five day trip through the Lofoten Islands. Because it was a Sunday during the shoulder season, we “checked in” via a box with our key in an envelope. This was actually really easy. The individual room we stayed in, room 10 above the restaurant was great. There was a sink in the room, but we had to use a shared shower. This wasn’t bad at all. The shared bathroom was very clean. I don’t think there were many other guests. The weather leading up to our stay was cloudy and pouring rain with rain gusts up to 50 mph. Luckily, it cleared up shortly before 8pm and we were able to catch the aurora. It was amazing! Great location, great place, and great views!

This is a lovely, remote and charming restaurant with rooms above where we stayed (you can also rent cabins). The rooms on the floor above the restaurant are clean and comfortable but do not have en suite bathrooms. Shared bathrooms are down the hall. However, there is the convenience of being in the same building as the restaurant since there are so few eating establishments in the village. The location is beautiful, and it's convenient to the Moskenes ferry to Bodø. Restaurant dinner was very good, breakfast was good.

Pieni, juuri auennut hotelli. Huoneet todella siistit ja hyvän kokoiset. Vastaanoton yhteydessä sijaitseva ravintola oli erinomainen ja ravintolan ikkunasta näkyi hienot maisemat merelle sekä vuorille. Aamiainen ei kuulunut varauksen hintaan, mutta se oli mahdollista varata saapuessa vastaanotosta. Hotelli oli hiukan piilossa kalastajamökkien välissä, mutta löytyi kun malttoi ajaa tietä tarpeeksi pitkälle.

Å Rorbuer oversteg forventningene mine. Stedet er nydelig i seg selv. Hadde booket et rom med delt bad, og i utgangspunktet er man alltid skeptisk til delt bad. Men det var det ingen grunn til. Selve rommet var topp, med flott utsikt og egen vask. Veldig god seng! De delte badene var moderne, innbydende og svært rene. Og det var aldri problem å finne et ledig bad, siden det var flere av dem. Det var også veldig god frokost, med kjempegodt brød. Spiste også middag i restauranten og drakk et par glass vin i baren. Er det én ting jeg ville forbedret, var det å ha litt mer "lounge" i bar-området. Nå er det bare en krok der, som "alle" ville være i. Ellers er det bord og stoler. Jeg kommer gjerne tilbake!

1) Es gab keine Möglichkeit und kein Wille vom Personal ein Fahrrad unterzustellen, es musste draussen am Regen stehen. 2) Zimmer war nicht ganz sauber. 3) In der Nacht lief alle 10Minuten für 10Minuten eine sehr laute Lüftung, nach 10Minuten Ruhe und dann wieder. Schlechter Schlaf. 4) Sehr teuer, für 2 Nächte 550Euro, mit Gemeinschaftsbad und WC..... 5) Konsumation sehr teuer, 20E für Einen Tee, 1 kleinen Karottenkuchen. 6) Personal nicht sehr zuvorkommend.

The room was clean, and the hotel’s location was excellent. Unfortunately, we had problems with the heating in our room. We reported the issue to the front desk in the evening, but nothing was done. The room’s normal heating system (underfloor heating) was not working, so the room was extremely cold. The front desk told us that we could use the emergency radiator, but once we turned it on, the room became uncomfortably hot. We ended up having to switch it off in the middle of the night. We brought the issue up again at check-out, and we were told that the hotel would follow up with us by email. However, we have not received any communication from the hotel since then.

Die Unterkunft ist paradiesisch gelegen und es war das schönstes Zimmer auf unserer Velotour zum Nordkapp und zurück über die Lofoten (wir hatten Blick auf das Meer) und eine Nespresso Kaffeemaschine.
