Top Class Accommodation

Very professional and friendly staff. Even the recommendations (places to have lunch at) by the staff that was made were A++++. The place itself was very clean and well presented. Thank you for making our Anniversary getaway comfortable and enjoyable. The history about the place was very interesting too.

Victoria, Stanley, Wendy and others did everything conceivable to ensure that we had a perfect stay. From our welcome drinks to our delicious breakfasts to all the expert and gracious assistance with our wine tours and restaurant reservations, they made our stay beautiful and memorable and special! We would love to return — and will refer our friends!

Amazing hospitality

The absolute best stay in Franschoek - Stanley, Frances and Patricia were the best hosts. Highly recommend to stay here: good location, beautiful rooms and the best people. Went the extra mile! Thanks for everything!

The room was spacious and the bathroom we had was almost as big as the rest of the room. The team were amazing - able to handle requests at last minute, the breakfast was delicious. The bar was well stocked, loved the honour system concept. Very close to the high street, but far enough away for the noise.

We had the most wonderful stay at Flour du Soleil in Franschhoek – total comfort and convenience from start to finish. The accommodation was stylish, spotless, and incredibly cosy – we felt right at home the moment we arrived. The service was exceptional – warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever being over the top. Every little detail was taken care of, which made it all so easy and relaxing. A perfect base for exploring Franschhoek – we’ll absolutely be back!

We loved Fleur du Soliel - the best place we stayed on our tour in South Africa.  The rooms were spacious, the decor stunning, staff very friendly and helpful, a lovely and peaceful outside space, and the breakfasts fresh and fantastic.  Also, within easy reach of the restaurants in Franschhoek.   The only slight negative, and this is not Fleur du Soliel's fault nor unique to Fleur du Soliel, is that even when booking via hotels.com the bookings are routed through Nightsbridge, a South Africa room booking platform and require a balancing payment to be made to Nightsbridge.  For visitors from the UK, Nightsbridge is a pain to deal with as very many UK credit card companies won't allow payments to be made to Nightsbridge.

A beautiful place with the greatest staff

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The place is beautiful, cozy and intimate, while at the same time gives a feeling of comfort and luxury. Everything you want from a luxurious guesthouse. The staff was super friendly and kind. Especially when we had a little run-in with some illness. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to experience Franschhoek to stay at this guesthouse if possible.
