Perfect for a weekend in Malaga to explore the Cathedral, the Alcabaza and Gibralfaro Castle. Very kind staff, the apartment and it’s surroundings were spotless. Loved the atmosphere and the beds are very comfortable. We had a full kitchen and a washer, so it had everything for you if you travel light and don’t mind preparing your meals.

The hotel suites are not as close to the hotel as we thought. They are well furnished and the hotel provides an espresso machine with coffee pods, sugar and cream,which is a plus. We had problems with internet access during our stay. We used the parking garage at an extra cost, which works very well, but could have been included for the price we paid. The suite kitchen had all the necessary items for light cooking, coffee and beverages. The living room and dining area were comfortable. The location is very quiet, with air conditioning that worked very well. The soap options and bathroom items were limited. Overall very good, 8/10.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at Suites Del Pintor. The apartment was spacious and in a good location. The beds were extremely comfortable compared to some of the very hard mattresses we have experienced during our trip. A coffee machine with a few pods is provided but no salt and pepper. I had to ask for replacement garbage bags (they actually said I should buy them!). Very nice towels too! We had a rental car so be aware that you first have to park at the Alcazaba public parking lot, then walk the short distance to the hotel to check in. You will then be given instructions on walking to the Suites. Only if there is parking available at the Suites, can you park there (which is understandable). We ended up moving our car the next day to the parking at the Suites. There are certain roads in the Old Town that you arn’t allowed to drive down and Google Maps will sometimes direct you down those roads! All in all, it was a very pleasant stay and we would highly recommend the Suites Del Pintor.

The location is very good. Close to restaurants and shops. Check in is a bit complicated, since you pick up the key in another place. Also, we were not prepared to live in a "prison cell" without daylight and fresh air. It should be clearly informed that this studio is on the ground floor with only windows to the entrance hall. For some it might be OK, but we would never have booked it for 5 nights if we had known. A very unpleasant stay in an otherwise nice apartment. Good quiet sleep, though. The shared roof terrace is nice.
