The location was perfect for our stay and we had no major issues with the room. There were a few stains on the comforter and it’s definitely an older hotel but the room was rather clean. The air conditioner was nice and check in and check out went smoothly. A lot of the reviews on Google are negative but we personally did not experience any issues.

All the staff were helpful and when we needed to change rooms, they offered an immediate solution. The check-in staff was very courteous and welcoming.The building is in a historic part of the city, so you can expect an old building**,** but the rooms are clean, although on the smaller side. It is within walking distance of all the important sightseeing spots and shops. There is a supermarket nearby and lots of food options.

This property is extremely rundown. It looked like mold was all over the tiles in the bathroom. The walls were dirty.and The towels were paper thin and stained. The mattress if that’s what you called it was hard as a rock. There were no blankets on the bed or in the room. The bed only had a single sheet on it, with a long black hair on it!! Positive side the air conditioning was great, The staff was really nice, however our receptionist had a T-shirt that had FU*K OFF logo on it. She was very nice and accommodating, but I couldn’t understand why she was wearing this inappropriate T-shirt. We stayed there because we wanted to be near the Gothic area. The location was good, but it was getting close to a rougher part of town. However, it was very walkable, and we did feel safe. I believe in Hotels.com was like 8.2 or 8.3. Rating. I would’ve given this hotel a rating of 4.5 to 5.. We got there at 8 PM and we’re leaving the next morning at 8 AM so it was a short 12 hour layover. I would not recommend this hotel. Nor would I ever stay there again. I’ve used Hotels.com for probably 10+ years and I’ve never written a review. This one was so far off the MARK I felt like I had to write a review.

The hotel is the old gothic quarters, so naturally small rooms but has a balcony and terrace access was great. Enjoyed the stay but the plan was cut short due to unexpected host cancellations that we had in Barcelona for another hotels so this was impromptu reservation for us.
