Very nice hotel! We chose a room with a shared bathroom and the room was huge. The bathroom was also very big and comfortable and very clean. The breakfast was good (eggs, bagels, cheese, fruit, porridge, coffee and more) and the staff was kind and helpful. It’s definitely value for money and we would go back.

This B&B is charming and cozy. The room was nice and spacious (and comes with robes!) and the adjoining bathroom was spotlessly maintained. The parlor is a cute, comfortable place to kill some time. Though I never saw anyone actually socializing there, it would be a cute place to do so. The breakfast was fine, but I wasn't expecting some gourmet made-to-order food. Note that there are no elevators (that I'm aware of) and the rooms are all higher than the first floor--indeed, the front door is atop a small flight of stairs. Location is also excellent, on a quiet street but just a few easy blocks from great restaurants, shopping, and nightlife. Would definitely look into staying here again on my next visit to Philly.

Staff was friendly and helpful, the building is very nice, and the room was clean and huge. We had a few issues: for about 10 minutes, we got stuck in our room because we couldn't open the door. There was a problem with the electronic lock. Also, the breakfast was no better than a 2-star hotel. Weak coffee and no decaf (K cups don't count). We took one look and went out to get breakfast somewhere else. But the price was good and we would certainly stay here again.

This is a WONDERFUL B&B in the heart of Philadelphia. We really enjoyed our stay! The staff is kind and very helpful; the rooms are beautiful and the breakfast is great! The staff is friendly and thorough, the room was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. La Reserve has maintained an old world charm while providing all the modern comforts, and is in a nice neighborhood right in Center City. Highly recommended. The only thing we would want to see added is an in-room mini-fridge. That would take 'perfect' to the next level.
