It was as expected for a hotel built in the mid 1920s in downtown historic St. Cloud. The people were very polite and the restaurants were amazing and very close.

The property was absolutely gorgeous and the staff was great 😊. The room was very cozy, and the bed was so comfortable. The property did seem to have a few little German cockroaches in the bathroom (mind you everything was so clean I was shocked) which took a little charm away but overall a nice stay for the cost.

The hotel was visually adorable - very old school WWI style. The staff was very friendly, too. The bathroom was very tiny though, and the beds were awful. If you are sleeping with someone, the entire bed moves when he/she moves. The pillows were so thick, you were in a partial seated position. They have A/C units, so make sure you don’t raise the air because it takes forever to cool back down. The worst part were the roaches. We killed several, but I found one crawling on me in the bed at night. Normally, I don’t leave reviews, but I had to warn people who might be freaked out about things like that (I couldn't sleep at all between the awful pillows and roaches). Otherwise, it’s located on a super cute block of stores-very quaint town. Check out John 3:16 coffee house. The owner was awesome, and the coffee/tea was organic and fresh/delicious. There is also a place that sells truffles that were delicious.
