We have stayed at the triangle motel for several different trips. It’s been renovated. Staff is wonderful. Rooms are clean walkable to everywhere in Silverton, Colorado.

This motel could use a little love. Things are pretty run down for $250 a night. Swamp cooler was broken, lights flicker, no towel racks, tv got one channel, website says breakfast included but it is not, so if you are booking on Expedia or hotels.com just know BREAKFAST IS NOT included even though it says it is. Would stay again for $99 a night.

Clean motel

We thought we booked a king bed, it was not. When we checked in the gal made a big deal about signing a paper about damage to the hotel, and then when we entered the room there was the toilet paper holder ripped off the wall, which I let her know right away. The bed was too soft. There was a coffee maker but no cups to make it in. The room was down a hallway and it was very hot which made it hard to sleep. We did have a fan and opened the window which helped. The motel itself was clean, and was easy to find. The people were nice.

Our room (#8) was very clean and felt newly renovated. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The only problem was of the two sets of stairs to the second floor only one had hand railings making the one without railings unusable for and old guy like me which was inconvenient. Otherwise I would highly recommend the Triangle and would stay there next time I visit.

Rooms extremely clean daily and remodeled! Highly recommend it! Only grumble is continental breakfast not many options. When ask for more butter as it was empty, she said, “ No Mam, we do not have more butter?” It is located in a convenience store grocery/gas/food.

Location in Silverton is pretty good. While the bed and linens were very clean, the carpet and the room felt dirty. There was no faucet handle on our cold water, we only had hot water. The adjoining room with 2 beds had a door that could not close due to the bed being too long - no privacy.

Super helpful. We are not able to get to the hotel the first night because all the passes were closed. They reached out to me before I could contact them They keep us informed on the road conditions. They went over and above what they needed to do. Very happy with their service services.

Overpriced

Silverton is a nice place. But the Triangel Hotel was overpriced. Only beds no writing table. Only cofee available in the room no thee. Breakfast had only pale cofee that looked like tee and had no taste but warm water and machinery...the morning pizza had the taste of beeing warmed up all night. Good thing: the room was clean.

Our two-bedroom suite was spotlessly clean and the daily housekeeping service was excellent. The kitchen had a full-size stove and refrigerator, a microwave and a drip coffeemaker with both decaf and regular coffee available. US 550 closed after we arrived, which wasn't a problem until two days later when we needed to leave but the management was very accommodating and pushed checkout time back a couple of hours so that we could be comfortable while we waited for the pass to open. Thank you very much! We will be back!

It was a mediocre bed and a warm shower. The cleaning staff did a good job with what they had to work with. Place has faucets that leak like crazy because they are from the 1960s. Electrical plugs wont stay plugged in because the plugs are so old. Everything old, but not charming. We still enjoyed our visit - I mean, it's Silverton!

Prices are high because of the area. Property is just OK. Expedia stated breakfast was included but that was discontinued a year ago. There is no AC in the motel - Expedia should point that out. Room was a little warm and never did cool down even with windows slightly open. Mattress, pillows, furniture all second class. Towel and TP fixtures had fallen off wall and not replaced. I guess you need to spend $500 if you want a decent room in this area.

I was not feeling well and needed to leave. Talked to front desk and was told no refund. They wouldn’t even talk about it. I talked to them early in the day and could have probably rented the room again but wouldn’t even talk about it. Not very good public relations in my opinion!

Terrible customer service

The motel was ok, horrible bed but the customer service is my biggest complaint. We left our personal pillows behind, called them the same day, called numerous more times & and mailed asking to send them to us, gave our credit card details everything. It’s been 6 weeks, no pillows and no one will respond to my requests

Hotel room was meticulously clean!!! So impressed with how well everything is cleaned and taken care of. Nothing in this hotel is fancy or premium grade, but it is extremely clean and that is worth EVERYTHING. Front desk staff was always helpful, and being attached to the gas station/convenience store is super helpful and convenient. Snow removal could use some improvement....the ramp to the staircase and the stairs did not have the snow removed, and they were pretty treacherous and difficult to maneuver, especially with luggage. Overall, this is a GREAT place to stay and I would absolutely stay here again. Note about the town: Silverton is amazing, beautiful, historic, rustic. I definitely recommend hitting a grocery store before heading up the pass because many restaurants are closed, even though their Google pages may say they are open. Come prepared!!
