The Hayes Street Hotel

The hotel is nicely decorated and not far from Broadway, however, you do need to drive.. definitely feels a little too off the beaten path to walk. There also isn’t much convenience right in the area of this hotel. Within walking distance is one Italian place, one deli, a Five Guys and a Dollar General (DGX). While the staff was friendly, they weren’t knowledgeable about the area.. There was not a lot of info provided in the hotel room for things like how to call the front desk. I swear I saw the hotel had room service, but they don’t.. you need to order food from the bar downstairs. When I ordered something off the menu given in my room, the bartender laughed and said they hadn’t made that dish in a while... kind of odd. My room was nice, there was ample space and the bed was comfortable, but there was an odor I couldn’t get rid of.. like musty drawers or old clothes or maybe a bad leftover food smell. It never left even with air fresheners and of course the window didn’t open. I might choose to stay here again, but think I might look elsewhere next time I’m in town..

We came to Nashville for Mother's Day weekend. Staff was friendly, hotel was clean, great location, and charming. I would stay here again.

Nice hotel and good location for everything.

We were able to check in early which was nice, but the front desk clerk was not very friendly or helpful. The location provided quick Uber rides to Broadway and other sites we wanted to see. We walked to the Gulch and even Broadway on one of the days. Breakfast was the usual Continental Breakfast offerings and the morning staff was friendly.

Great hotel. We arrived to a cheerful bartender and a one-man band singing and playing the guitar, completing the Nashville vibe. Rooms were modern and clean. Beds comfy. Friendly and helpful staff. Just wish the location was closer to downtown. (It’s very close to Vanderbilt and the hospitals, if that’s your priority)
