We absolutely loved staying at the Half Moon. The staff were very welcoming and helpful to us. The rooms were well maintained and every detail that you could possibly want or need were provided for. The bars served delicious drinks and the meals in the restaurant were very good. Breakfast was included and one of the best hotel breakfast I have had.

Loved staying here. I actually think as a pub the deserve more than 4 star. The put other 4 star hotels to shame. Cant fault it. The food was absolutely lovely and the chef is obviously very skilled in his profession. Breakfast was perfect. I cant recommend the place enough.

The Half Moon has now become our family’s home away from home. Most of us have emigrated from our local stomping grounds in Crystal Palace and our Mum’s in Stradella Road. Staying in the Shmidt room this time filled us with joy, as we walked down memory lanes, spending time with best mates, attending a family wedding and treasuring a pint or two where my Mum had her 90th birthday bash in the pub’s back garden & annex and where we had a fabulous celebration at the 80s, fancy dress party downstairs one New Year’s Eve. The pub and hotel are super and the staff, rooms and breakfast top notch!

A little gem! So lovely to have a drinks voucher on arrival and the breakfast the next morning was great, lots to choose from. The room was perfect. The only slight issue was the noise of the traffic as close to a junction but otherwise peaceful in the hotel!

Recently stayed for 1 night in a cabin room, it was spotless on arrival, the bed was extremely comfortable. Tea and coffee in the room. Bathroom was spotless, we also manage to have dinner in the restaurant the staff were very pleasant and helpful and the food was very satisfying. I would definitely book here again
