Hygge tur

Best stay ever

This is one of the nicest resorts I have stayed at. The level of heartfelt interactions with the staff were second to none. The spa was great, the restaurant was amazing and the pool was beautiful. The views can not be matched.

Staff is incredible here!! Beautiful view of the ocean, clean rooms, nice pool, wonderful massages at the SPA and great food! If you want to go to beach — it’s not an easy walk — better to drive the car. The rooms have a fridge and microwave and stove top with dishes pots and pans and glasses. The grocery store is very close. Did I mention the massage?? It was incredible. I got a massage plus body scrub and a regular massage. Both were really excellent massages at a very reasonable price. Between the staff, the view, the cleanliness and the massage — definitely a highly recommended stay!!

Nice hotel in a quiet atmosphere

This is a very nice hotel. In a very quiet area. We spent 4 days there The staff are very friendly. Pool area is spotless! Continental breakfast has very good choices and the wait staff can’t do enough for you! Our room was ok… we were told that we would have fresh beach towels every 3rd day which we did not. We got fresh bathing towels though. There wasn’t any extra toilet paper either we had to ask for it. All in all it was good.

4/10 Regular

Hotel is nice and I can recommend it, but we faced a problem with our second child (6 years old). If you travel with two kids, you may have noticed that in many cases you can’t book the room with two kids (both under 10 years old) at Hotels.com. Most of the hotels will not be listed. Usually, you then need to pay a small fee at the hotel for the second child which is totally acceptable. But with La Blanca Resort the fee for the second child (which sleeps in between parents and eats only cerials at breakfast) is according to their hotel policy. And it is ridiculously high compared to any other hotel. I can’t mention the amount of the fee due to Hotels.com restrictions, but this additional fee increased our daily hotel rate by almost 50% and we stayed four nights. We would not have chosen this hotel if we knew about the additional cost. You should be able to read these terms also when booking the hotel from Hotels.com.
