This was a first-class little hotel. No, it isn't the Ritz, but it is a very clean, spectacularly maintained motel. The room was large, and the beds were comfortable. It was nice to have a loveseat in the room too, so we could watch TV without lying down in bed. We chatted with the hosts a couple of times and found them nice & helpful. In fact, we accidentally left a bag behind in the room, and we didn't get 10 miles down the road before they called us to let us know. We were able to go back with very little inconvenience, get the bag, and resume our trip. Add to that the fact that the price was very reasonable. This has nothing to do with the hotel, but since they do not serve breakfast, we recommend The Pines Cafe. It is a wonderful old-fashioned cafe with great food & service.
