Summer 2024

One night stay on the way to Italy. Second year we have used this hotel, and it is the perfect stop, for a night on the way. Right next to the highway, nice rooms, ok breakfast, and a nice restaurant next to the hotel.

Super for a quick stopover

A quick stop enroute from Denmark to Italy - just a few minuts off the Autobahn and in a very quiet area. We had a 3 bed unit and was very spacious. Hotel is dog friendly. The hotel had a Greek restaurant that looked very busy - but we had a great traditional german meal a few minuts drive away at "Brauereigasthof Hofmark".

Overall a nice place to stay. Very helpful personnel that helped with getting my EV charged and for a very favorable price pr kWh too. We visited during a particularly warm period of the year and the lack of air conditioning really hurt the quality of sleep. Probably not a problem for 11/12 months of the year.

Fint hotel. Vi havde booket et familieværelse hvor der var to dobbeltsenge (den ene 180 cm, den anden 16 cm). Udmærket morgenmad, hvor der også var glutenfri muligheder. Hotellet ligger tæt ved motorvejen, så fint på vej til / fra ferie sydpå.

Vi brugte Hotel Günter som et stop på vejen til Italien, og det var vi overordnet set rigtig glade for. Ind- og udtjekning forløb helt gnidningsfrit. Det er et fint, stort hotel, som ligger utrolig praktisk lige ved en motorvejsafkørsel. Det gør det nemt at ankomme efter en lang dag på farten og hurtigt komme videre igen næste morgen. Vi havde fået to værelser ved siden af hinanden, hvor man kunne låse en fælles yderdør på gangen. Det betød, at vi trygt kunne have begge døre ind til selve værelserne stående åbne. Værelserne havde rigtig dejlige, store senge, og badeværelset var flot, velholdt og indbydende. Et enkelt minus er dog, at hotellet ikke har aircondition. Vi var der midt på sommeren, så det blev ret lummert. Fordi hotellet ligger klos op ad motorvejen, var der for meget støj til, at vi kunne have vinduerne åbne om natten for at køle værelset ned. Det er værd at have i baghovedet, hvis man booker i højsommeren. Til gengæld var forplejningen i top. I gadeplan ligger der en særskilt restaurant, Irodium, med mange udendørs siddepladser. Vi fik nogle virkelig gode pomfritter og wienerschnitzler – lige hvad man trænger til efter en lang køretur. Næste morgen spiste vi af hotellets morgenmadsbuffet, som levede fuldt ud op til forventningerne med alt, hvad hjertet begærer af mad og drikke. Man går bestemt ikke sulten derfra. Alt i alt et rigtig godt og velfungerende stop på vejen sydpå!
