Great location but beware this is a “ghost” property with no staff, no amenities. Theres no parking to unload luggage and when arriving you will go to a kiosk to get an entry code to let yourself in. Rooms are fine but this hotel is all about great location!

Beautiful location on the historic canal path. Lovely room that provided all I needed. Air conditioning was easy to adjust and worked well. The completely automated check in and check out worked well (because the staff thoughtfully left a key due to an issue with the room door keypad). If location is your #1 priority and you’re only staying for 1-2 nights, you can’t beat this place. It is bear-bones, though, tons of stairs (bathroom trip at night meant going down a lengthy staircase), no frig in the room and no info that there is a kitchen in the basement, and the check-in process (when using Hotels.com for getting a reservation) is awful, and the manager was shockingly rude. Loved the location. Not a lot else.

I am shocked how affordable this was as it's in the best part of Georgetown. The housekeeping staff are so sweet, the rooms were clean, and the kitchen was an amazing touch. Even though the canal was not filled during our stay, it was a so nice to look out on the trail and canal. My one critique is if you need to drop off your luggage, the lockers currently don't have keys to lock them.

The best thing about the property is the location. The best way to describe the room is plastic. The bath/shower controls were dirty and the control for the bathtub was missing. The A/C was fine and the bed fairly comfortable. The cost of the room was outrageous as a result of the timing; it was Georgetown University's graduation weekend. There were 2 bottles of water, coffee and tea available downstairs and no bathroom amenities.

This small historic hotel sits at the absolute best location of Georgetown. I loved that there were some historic details still there. My room (number 2) was small but worked great. The lady running the hotel was incredibly helpful. Free coffee in the kitchen area. Looked there was storage lockers for your luggage if needed. You need to walk stairs so not suitable for a person in a wheelchair. I am very happy with my stay.

Great location, close to everything you need in Georgetown. There are lockers in the kitchen but the only locker available was with a broken lock that we had to fix. The rooms are small but clean. Because it's a historic house, there's no sound isolation, so you can hear what's going on outside, however it wasn't too bad at night.
