Stayed here for 1 night but it was absolutely delightful! The staff was very hospitable, the amenities were great, lication of the hotel relative to the touristy attractions was fantastic, breakfast was on point, room was decent sized and clean too. The hotel is in a wonderful location in terms of walkability but the rooms are on the main road. The staff was kind and helpful when needed but not proactive - they never showed me the pool or told me about dinner options or activities for the New Year that the hotel organized. The room was mostly clean but there was food left from the previous guest in the fridge and the bathroom had mold and really needs an upgrade. The room was also only cleaned on the 2nd but not the 3rd day of my 4 days there. The bed was also way too soft (but I guess some people like that).

Good thing about this property is, its is close by Sigiriya Rock besides that there really is nothing the property has to offer. For convenience to the park, I will say stay here but be ready for worn down property with noisy room by the Main Street.

It’s a three star hotel and it shows. The location is the main selling point. Super convenient and walkable to all the bars and restaurants of Sigiriya. The rooms are decently sized and it comes with a king bed and an additional twin bed. There are definitely ants in the room and geicos too so fyi on that if that bothers you. You get what you pay for.

We stayed here for two nights and were mostly satisfied, but here are some pros and cons. Pros: It’s proximity to the rock, walking distance. Good beds. Good food, nice garden and bar area. Excellent service and hospitality. The staff did their best to assist with issues (like arranging for a room change) and there were a few... Cons: Overall cleanliness in the rooms was not satisfactory. Low shower pressure and wifi signal. The biggest issue with our first room was that it was located right next to the Sigiriya road which was noisy enough to lose sleep over, so choose or ask for a room facing the garden if possible. Our next room did, and it was quiet, although this room had issues with small ants coming from the ceiling, mainly in the bathroom.

Good hotel to stay in Sigiriya but ...

Nice, modern and clean hotel just at the road at Sangriya. Hotel layout like in American motels :) Nice and quiet. Hotel restaurant available and local ones within minutes walk. There is a place for a swimming pool, but there is none, so it is probably planned in the future. Unfortunately, after booking a room and arriving quite late (around 8:00 P.M.), the staff "couldn't handle" the fact that we are with a 13 year old child and our booking made via hotels.com includes one king size bed AND one queen size bed. Unfortunately, showing the reservation with above description did not help and the manager demanded an additional payment for a larger room with an extra bed - even though the error was on the hotel's side and such a room was free anyway. It wasn't even a question of breakfast for 3, which we opted out of when booking anyway (we have booked without breakfast, room only). My booking was done correctly. Unfortunately, the stuff wasn't up to the task. For this reason, we did not stay another night - we found another accommodation where there was no such problem.

Poolen var dårligt vedligeholdt. Der lå klinker på bunden der var faldet af, og dæk brædder rundt om pool var knækket. Vores værelse lå mod vejen og der var alt for meget larm om natten. Søde ansatte og en fin morgenmad. Området omkring hotellet er fint og der er nogle forskellige restauranter og tæt på forskellige seværdigheder.

洗面所、シャワー室も含め部屋は綺麗でしたし、歯ブラシ、髭剃りなどアメニティや機器類が充実してました。しかし、入室時には偶々か、蚊が一匹飛んでいましたしシャワー室の排水口からか夕刻ゴキブリが出てきた。どちらも葬り去り平和に2日過ごしましたが、防音も含め機密性が気になる人には困るかもしれません。それでも私は、2分でシギリヤロック絶景やローカル食堂の立地と経済的部屋料金の面で十分満足でした。
