4/10 Fair

Price was a bit better than nearby places. No check in staff - no problem. However I booked same day and when I arrived I had not received the door code info. Took a long time to sort out. I borrowed a local phone to call and they said hotels.com hadn’t sent them the info. Main issue: room smelled horrendous. Like major chemicals or something else. I left the window open and left for two hours. Was a bit better but by next morning was still there. I had the impression it was sprayed with something. I let the cleaning staff know politely as I left in the morning. Otherwise- room simple, clean, bed okay. Nowhere to hang clothes. Mini fridge was great. I rarely leave negative reviews but that smell was terrible and I wish I could get some reimbursement. My clothes and back pack still smell of it.

10/10 Exceptional

A reasonably priced small apartment in the center of the town. Easily walkable to all destinations in town. Ideal location for day trips to areas around Akureyri.

8/10 Very good

The location cannot be beat - the apartment was close to food, shopping and tours. The apartment was a good size, relatively modest and clean.

Great location

Exterior is ordinary, but interior was surprisingly modern, spacious and pleasant. Location is a few blocks from downtown and near walking trails to the water.

Despite initial skepticism, renting at this location exceeded my expectations. The space was fantastic, and there were plenty of affordable dining options in the vicinity.

10/10 Exceptional

Parking was free and close. Easily walkable to the downtown area. Not staff on site other than cleaning crew. Entry was done with codes given through email.

The apartment is very well maintained has a fridge and cutlery, a microwave. Close to the harbour. Easy accessibility to the room with the code. Many restaurants near by if you want to eat outside. Bonus and Kronos is also walking distance. Staff did respond and allowed me early check in because of the weather.

6/10 Good

It was an ok experience Could have been better with consideration to amenities like soap in the bathroom, salt and pepper in the kitchen (dispensers were empty)

Liked the price and location. Didn’t like the slanted roof, I’m 6’6”, but I knew it was slanted when I bought it.

8/10 Very good

We didn’t see any staff which is the reason for our rating. Our apartment was good just wished we had a coffee maker and toaster. The car park is behind the building could use some upgrades.
Verified review

8/10 Very good

The apartment was spacious but we found objects that were left from prior guests in our room. There was rarely someone at the desk when we needed anything. Very noisy at night. Location was good. Close to all the shops and restaurants
Verified review

8/10 Very good

Very clean and as advertised. Room was a little cramped for 4 people, but we kinda expected that going in. Located in the heart of town, many restaurants and shopping are within easy walking distance. Only issue was that for us the room was too warm even when the temperature was turned all the way down. We had to crack the windows to sleep which made the room noisy with the sounds of the town and wind.

Breakfast is starts kind of late. Choose a room with a cooler there's plenty of stores to gather food from close by.
