Awesome Stay

From our entrance to our exit staff was kind, pleasant, very helpful in assisting with travel needs around town. Great amenities (pool, gym, restaurant, bar) for all travelers. All staff made us feel at home away from home.

Good value

In general thos hotel chain is a good value. Some of them are better than others. The Enschede hotel is older and the restaurant was nearly as nice as others weve stayed in. Service was very good.

Ok average hotel

Decent clean and comfortable hotel. Breakfast is 17 euro a head. Lots of free parking space. Our room had the toilet in a small closet, with a small sink that was absolutely useless. So you went to the toilet in the closet, and then had to go to the bigger bathroom to wash hands. If you pick a room without balcony, the guests who have a balcony can look directly in to your room, so you’ll have to keep the blinds shut at all time.

Perfect for business travels

I have stayed at Van der Valk multiple times, as I often work in the area. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, and the bathrooms large, light and clean. I often use the gym and pool on the top floor, which is both super convenient, useful and nice. The restaurant and bar serves a large variety of dishes, in large portions, and there’s always a lot of people from the area visiting for dinner, - also on regular week nights, creating a good atmosphere. In general the service is very good in both reception, restaurant and bar. The location is convenient for easy accessing the motor way. But the area is not very charming. However, for business traveling the hotel is perfect, and I would definitely recommend it for that purpose.

They couldn't find my reservation and did not have my data, that I entered when booking. The hotel said, that booking through agents does not work - they do not get the required data.
