The hotel is well-maintained but already a bit dated: some of the furniture in our room showed quite a bit of wear and tear. The location at the edge of Paderborn is inconvenient for getting to the downtown area quickly but on the other hand very easily to reach by car, and there are stores, a Subway, a bakery and more nearby. Also, there is a big park in walking distance.

Denna gången hade de inte lika bra koll på grejorna. När vi kom i torsdags så hade vi inget toapapper, handtvål eller duschtvål på rummet. Detta löstes dock snabbt av tjejen i receptionen. Det skedde heller ingen städning eller byte av handdukar på rummet under hela vistelsen, trots att vi bad om det genom att hänga upp skylten om städning av rummet på dörren. Märkligt då vi såg städpersonalen på hotellet igår. De skulle också behöva uppgradera kuddarna i sängen som tyvärr är helt platta och det finns inga extra. Det som är bäst med detta hotellet är frukosten som man äter på ett bageri i samma byggnad.

Die Bilder des Hotels sind leider völlig irreführend, als erstes werden Bilder aus der Umgebung gezeigt, die überhaupt nicht zum Hotel gehören. Auch der Hotelname ist plötzlich ein anderer (IBB Hotel). Das Hotel liegt mitten im Gewerbegebiet direkt an der Straße und hat unten drunter Geschäfte und gegenüber einen Supermarkt, d.h. ständigen Autolärm tagsüber als auch nachts. Das Zimmer an sich war in Ordnung, aber vom Gebäude gegenüber konnte man direkt hineinschauen, wenn man nicht die Vorhänge zugezogen hat und im Durchgang unten drunter wurde von den Angestellten der Geschäfte immer geraucht, so dass man die Fenster trotz extremer Wärme im Zimmer geschlossen halten musste. Ein Schlafen bei offenem Fenster war wegen des Straßenlärms auch nicht möglich. Der QR Scan beim Automaten funktionierte auch nicht, aber zumindest war die Rezeptionistin da und freundlich. Trotz des relativ günstigen Preises fand ich diesen für die Leistung leider noch zu hoch. Ich würde das Hotel nicht noch einmal wählen.
