The very high ceilings (more than 15 feet, I think) made the room feel even larger. Nice place, everything worked with no issues. I liked the breakfast. The location worked well being within reasonable walking distance of the main art museums, in a trendy neighborhood and with a metro stop right there

The hotel was clean and fresh, but also very worn and outdated. You can clearly tell that it has been around for many years and is in need of renovation. The soundproofing inside the hotel was extremely poor, and you could hear everything between the rooms. However, the sound insulation from the street was excellent.

The hotel was excellent, 7-10 minutes from la gran via. The front desk staff was helful. I really enjoy the view from my room. My only suggestion would be to renovate the lobby/entrance, it could better decorated, but i will stay again with no problem.

everything was great about this property. the breakfast was amazing. the staff incredible. the rooms old and rustic but very clean and unique to the very cool hotel. bar restaurant was good. was nice hanging out on the roof top patio to enjoy our beverages. hotel counter employees were very helpful. full of information and answers to our many questions having never been to Madrid before.

I appreciated the Nespresso coffee in my room — it was so convenient! The location was perfect; the hotel has old charm and is modern too! I was on the 2nd floor, and it was so quiet. Very well maintained hotel. Large bed. Big shower. Air conditioning in the room. Plenty of light and opening on windows for a good view of the plaza. Staff were excellent. You wont see anyone running around, its a relaxing place. Best hotel i have stayed at in Madrid. We didnt use the breakfast facilities so cannot comment on that. Bar and lounge area are stylish.

Free water and coffee, extremely clean and the bed was so comfortable! Despite the front (Plaza) facing room it was very quiet at night and the full black out doors/window was extremely helpful to prevent the room from overheating during the day. Walking distance to everything! Would choose again in a heartbeat!
