I feel bad saying bad things because the couple running the hotel are very nice, and the main surfaces were very clean (bed, furniture, toilet, tub/shower, vanity). But everything else was dusty and dingy. The breakfast was sparse, mostly bread and cereal. Nothing hot, other than the waffle maker. I was unable to eat any of it since I don’t eat gluten. A piece of fruit would have been nice. It was fine for a night, but I probably wouldn’t stay again. We enjoyed the restaurant/bar that was within walking distance and there is a nice convince store next door.

The Rodeway Inn is the perfect place to stay in St. Joseph, MN. The staff were friendly and the hotel is clean inside and out. No smokey rooms or entry areas. No pet odors in a pet free hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

This was just a stopover on our route. The hotel is basic but clean & sufficient, and the mattress was very comfy. Breakfast consisted of a waffle machine, & stuff to make toast etc. We could walk to Neighbors restaurant a block away and they offered a great variety on the menu and the food & service there was great, along with a Kwik trip right next door, there was no need to go anywhere else.

The floor area in the breakfast area was so dirty/sticky that one's shoes would stick to the floor when you walked. No instructions posted on how to use the waffle iron. Instructions on how to use the TV were inadequate and when asked how to use the TV, management was less than helpful -directed blame to us.
