We chose this place for the unique experiences- Fresh soup with locally sourced ingredients and the wine tasting on the terrace with a fire pit and s’mores. Even the ambiance of the room made you feel like relaxing and unwinding. The only con was the room had a little age to it in the bathroom and the noise level. Our room was close by the elevator and we could hear footsteps above us. But otherwise a neat concept!

Absolutely loved the hospitality at the hotel. Staff went above and beyond to make us feel cozy and comfortable. The rooftop bar is amazing. We enjoyed the campfire and indoor cocktail. The room is nice and we love the interior design. The breakfast never let us down. It’s so delicious and changed the soup choices everyday. The only things for improvement are 1) the number of power outlets is not enough and the location shouldn’t be on top of our beds. It’s hard to charge phones. 2) the window frame and tracks are not clean enough. 3) the bathroom is small but I guess it’s common in Japan. We will definitely come back and recommend this gorgeous hotel to our friends.

My mum and I stayed at Unwind Hotel for 6 nights. It is a small hotel and the setting is cozy. Very conveniently located with variety of eateries and near to Odori Park and all within walking distance. The team here are English speaking and they are very polite and helpful. A cozy hotel with great staff and a great room set up. The projector worked great and the beds were comfortable too. Not sure if we just couldn’t figure it out but I don’t think there was air con, or if there was it wasn’t cooling. It would get quite warm but there was a window to open if so. We got breakfast left for us outside our door in a picnic basket which was so cute and the soups were delicious.

I like this cozy hotel. The family room fit my party of 3 adults well, with sofa and kitchenette, we could chat drink and eat together. Breakfast is special with everyday starts off with a hot soup. The staff have international vibe. They are friendly and helpful, make us feel home outside home. Had a wonderful time staying in this hotel and definitely will pick this again next time.
