Our studio at Newsroom was a great spot for a long weekend in PEC. The lakeside studio is bright & clean, with a well-appointed kitchen and lovely seating areas inside and outside. We took advantage of their bike rentals, which was super convenient for exploring the millennium trail & nearby wineries. Would love to stay here again!

Although it was a bit expensive over Thanksgiving weekend, we enjoyed the spacious, clean, and cozy accommodation. The building is old, so the floors creak and are not quite level, but the property is well maintained. The staff were friendly, and it was convenient to rent bikes directly from the hotel. We rode about 10 km along the left side of the Millennium Trail, away from the construction area, before turning back. Perhaps we chose the wrong section, but we had expected a scenic trail with places to stop, rest, and enjoy the views. Instead, most of the route was enclosed by trees on both sides, with little to see along the way. This was a bit disappointing. If you're looking for a place to stay in a quite little town and enjoy PEC, this hotel would be a good place.

Newsroom Suites was a wonderful stay! Grocer next door, and a fantastic bakery a block away! There’s a Mexican restaurant across the street, as is a brewery! Don’t miss the Creperie in Picton!! Plenty of dining options for a three night stay! Central to many wineries, and Bloomfield and Picton close by! We enjoyed the sand dunes park, as well as casual strolls!
