The Stagecoach is definitely not a $200 per night motel, but it looks to be one of two places on the river so they can demand that kind of money. Don't get me wrong, the place was clean, the staff was very helpful, the rooms and decor are definitely dated and the breakfast is very basic. The location is incredible, we had a room with a balcony overlooking the river, so we paid what they were asking. We were within a very easy walk to downtown and found a great meal at the Lemonfish just across the river. I would definitely stay there again if I ever find myself in Salmon again.

We stayed for 2 nights while visiting friends that live in Salmon. Don’t be fooled by the outside which appears old. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable. Our room backed by the river which was lovely to hear. The hotel offers breakfast and is within walking distance to downtown. The area is safe and quiet. We would definitely choose to stay here again

Staff was friendly and breakfast was nice.we’ve stayed here for many years in the past. They’ve started having the omelette bar but that’s $10 per person more on each room. We just stay with the standard breakfast that was only disappointment on this stay, we enjoyed the hard-boiled eggs or the scrambled eggs without having to pay an extra fee, but I know the prices are up so whatever you need to do
