This facility is not staffed. They send you an email with codes to get into the building and into your room. The room was a bit small with a small round table for a desk (barely laptop size) and a chair. The beds were two twins pushed together. Breakfast was a bag stored in the fridge of a cheese sandwich, banana, yogurt, apple juice (or orange juice). However, there was some cereal there and you could make your own coffee/tea and porridge. Toilets and showers are central (separate lockable doors for each toilet and each shower). Robes and slippers are provided. Location has a view of the mine from the breakfast area and is walkable to the mine museum and underground tour pickup point. There is a nearby trail to hike around the mine.

Egentlig et veldig fint, enkelt, veldesignet og sjarmerende sted, men noen service finnes ikke - dette er et helt selvbetjent overnattingssted. Rent og pent, trivelige medgjester og hyggelig frokostpose og fika med assortert kaffe, te og småkaker. Fin uteplass med utsikt over det gamle gruveuttaket - og duer og småfulger. Vi reiste videre til Carl Larsson på morgenen, så vi testet det ikke, men det er fine turmuligheter rundt gruven for de som vil gå en overkommelig tur. Mange tok også på seg løpeskoene. Klønete å måtte logge seg inn på hotels.com for å finne koden til inngangsdøren og romdøren - det hadde vært helt supert om de kom direkte på sms eller epost - men ellers ingenting å utsette. Vi hadde kommet tilbake om ikke verden var full av steder å besøke! (Epilog: Men vi kommer kanskje tilbake likevel - vi satte av for kort tid til alt vi ønsket å få med oss i Dalarne og Värmland - vi tenkte bare på kultur i planleggingen, men innså underveis at naturen også er slående vakker!)

Ett väldigt trevligt boende perfekt placerat intill stora stöten vid falu koppargruva. Bra med parkering alldeles utanför boendet. Rent å fräscht, skönt med faciliteter som morgonrock och tofflor som man kan nyttja till och från badrum/toa. Kaffe och te finns att tillgå och disk ställes undan och diskas av personal. Sängar så sköna, smidigt och enkel frukostpåse ingår. 5 av 5 stjärnor för denna typ av boende.
