I really enjoyed my stay at Makryammos. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the hotel has a beautiful beach and lovely facilities. One of the things I especially enjoyed was seeing the wild animals around the hotel grounds, which made the experience feel unique and memorable. There are, however, a few areas that could be improved. The bed cover was very thin, and on one occasion the sheets did not appear to be completely clean. I also noticed that, while cleaning the rooms, the staff sometimes placed clean sheets in open plastic bags directly on the floor, which could be improved from a hygiene perspective. It would also be nice to have slippers provided in the rooms. Additionally, the water provided for tea was often not hot enough. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and really appreciated the beautiful surroundings, the beach, the facilities, and the helpful staff. With a few improvements to room cleanliness and amenities, the experience could be even better

Perfect for a relaxed holiday

Lovely little spot pushed back from Thasos town. Decently easy to walk to from the port (though maybe not with kids). The stay was incredibly relaxing. We stayed on property all 4 days because the beach was so beautiful and the water was so clear we didn’t feel a need to go to a different area. The food options are decent and the alcohol is reasonably priced. Would come back here again.

The hotel is located in a beautiful private bay with crystal-clear water and soft sand. The property is surrounded by a forest, and it was lovely to see peacocks walking around. The pool is very well designed for children, with a gradual slope that makes it safe and fun. The food was tasty, although the variety was limited. The rooms were nice, but since the hotel is spread across a large hillside, reaching the rooms at the top could take a while because there were not enough buggy cars available. Unfortunately, room cleanliness needs improvement. Our room had ants everywhere, even in the bed. There were also a huge number of mosquitoes, and despite bringing different insect repellents, we were constantly bitten. This was the biggest problem during our stay. Each room had assigned sunbeds on the beach, but ours were in the last row, apparently because of our room category, which didn’t seem fair. We also wanted to order drinks to our room one evening but were told there was no room service. The kids’ club was another disappointment. It closed very early, and the staff started cleaning before 5 p.m., making the children feel unwelcome. One older staff member was also unfriendly and didn’t seem suited to working with children. Overall, the location is stunning and the hotel has great potential. If the rooms were cleaner and the mosquito problem was properly addressed, I would definitely consider staying here again

A piece of paradise in the middle of pine forest, yet so close to the port. A true gem with a spectacular sea and pearly sand beach, nice rooms with exquisite architecture. However, the staff apparently are not as accustomed to international guests as they should be. Housekeeping sometimes needs a reminder; there is a serious bee and mosquito problem. It is almost impossible to dine or have a drink outdoors.I personally got my share of bee sting at the beach shower 🙃. In general, I would comment that the food is acceptable for families with young children, but both open buffet and the tavern is far from satisfactory for the experienced traveler. A fair note for the management : it would be a nice gesture for your guests from Turkey who comprises a good 20-40% of your high season guests if you signify the pork-containing foods at the open buffet. A good internal education for the staff is advisable about not to be prejudiced against certain groups, service, food and beverage culture.

Kumsal’ı adanın en güzel kumsalı bunu bütün adayı dolaşarak her sahiline giderek gördüm. Kahvaltı ve yemek alma alanı yeterli değil. Otelin en büyük problemi yemeklerin bir kısmını tüp damak tadına uymaması. Su ücretli. Oysa oradaki bir cihazda ücretsiz. Suyun para karşılığı olması çok yanlış. Şezlonglar kişiye özel ve bu bakımdan çok iyi. Barlarda çalışan arkadaşlar çok çalışkan hızlı ve gayretli. Çocuklu aileler için bulunabilecek en iyi otel. Temizlik mükemmel çalışanlar iyi ama biraz daha sevecen olabilir plaj çok çok iyi plajdaki servis menü çeşitliliği çok daha kaliteli ve klas olmalı ( patates kızarması bile yok cips veriliyor ) müşterilerin genelinin aile oluşu güzel, şezlong ve şemsiyelerin belli ve anahtarlı oluşu muhteşem. Otel konum itibariyle doğa nın için de ve denize sıfır, odalar temiz, kahvaltı ve akşam yemekleri gayet iyi ama öğlen/akşam yemekleri için taverna kesinlikle denenmelidir. Sürdürülebilir doğa ve yaşam için çaba sarf edilir. Ancak benim gibi sinek, sivrisinek ve arı lardan rahatsız olunuyorsa kesinlikle thassos tercih edilmemeli edileceksede akşamları kesinlikle üst/alt kıyamet uzun olmalı gelirken sinek kovucu ile gelinmelidir.

Genel olarak memnun kaldık. Özel plajının olması ve herkes için önceden belirlenmiş şezlong yerlerinin olması yer kapma stresi oluşturmadığından bir avantaj olarak değerlendirilebilir. Unser Aufenthalt in den Makryammos Bungalows auf Thassos war einfach traumhaft. Die Bungalows sind über das gesamte Gelände verteilt, wodurch sich die Gäste gut verteilen und es nie überfüllt wirkt. Wir hatten das Glück, eine Unterkunft mit direktem Strandzugang zu bekommen – einfach fantastisch. Die Sauberkeit war vorbildlich, das Personal immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Besonders beeindruckend war der gepflegte Strand, der zum Entspannen und Genießen einlädt. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Urlaub, den wir sehr genossen haben!

Wieder ein wirklich schöner Aufenthalt, wir waren zum 2. Mal zu Besuch. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Insbesondere für junge Familien super! Einzig die Getränkepreise sind enorm gestiegen. Wir kommen gern auch ein 3. Mal wieder.
