Fantastic hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my 5 day stay. Hotel was very well decorated / maintained. The room allocated was very nice, spacious, comfortable and cleaned on a daily basis. All the staff I encountered were very friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast provided by the hotel was very good with hot and cold option. The staff were all first class. The area around the hotel (marina and plaza) are beautiful. A number of different eating out options available in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. I used both the pool and the gym area and both were very good. In order to see the sights in Muscat you will need access to a car or order a taxi (can be expensive. Ask the hotel for options). I would definitely recommend the hotel to anyone coming to Oman for a relaxing holiday.

Great location in Al Mouj, surrounded by cafes and restaurants. Very comfortable room, but overpriced. Asked for sea view, which OK but was slighlty spoiled by construction in front of the hotel. Long wait for check-in, despite phoning ahead. Took forever to get housekeeping to bring some small items. I don't know why the roof-top pool closes at 6.00pm - just when the sun is setting and you can great views, they start clearing the sunbeds and move you out. Breakfast is fine but be prepared to wait for any cooked eggs. Overall slightly disappointed especially given the cost.
