Our room was on the third floor, and the "guest" below us was a nightmare to deal with. According to the front desk's staff, she used to work for the Hotel Foundation and is now living in the hotel as a result of an accident. After check-in, we had to go through our luggage and she kept knocking the ceiling to complain about the noise our luggage made. She called my room directly without consulting the front desk demanding that we stop moving our luggage. Her consistent complain persisted throughout our stay, even when we moved the chair. She has become so annoying that the staff at the front desk no longer want to deal with her as they vent out about her continually and the issues they have been experiencing with her for many years. On Sunday, as I prepared the luggage for our check out the following day, she complained again. At 5:24 pm, I received a call from the front desk staff asking me to stop making noise with the luggage. I paid for the room and it was 5:24 and she would have to deal with it. The manager was aware of the situation, but did not approach me directly to discuss it. We paid about 2500 for our stay only to have to monitor our feet and luggage rolling noises because the hotel does not know how to handle this crazy person. Considering that they are aware of this individual's issues, they should not rent the room above her. In every aspect, it adversely affected my stay and ruined my stay.
