We liked the kitchenette, spacious room and laundry service. It is a pleasant and short walk across Hawkesworth Bridge into downtown San Ignacio. The hostess was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our stay in San Ignacio.

This was the COZIEST place I’ve ever stayed EVER.
Literally felt like a home away from home. I didn’t wanna leave! Walking distance to all the necessities. Just enough comfort and authenticity from the atmosphere. Felt very private and spacious. I loved the touch lamp. Owner is extremely sweet, professional, and accommodating.
Easy pickup by Williams Belize Shuttle or MayaWalk Tours if you choose to do one of the many excursions available in the area.
The Inn is adjacent to a restaurant that serves delicious home cooked breakfast/lunch/dinner. The Inn is also walking distance from Tipico Salvadoreño, which had really fresh and affordable food and juices.
There’s no such thing as typical fast food joints or delivery here, so plan to take a little walk for meals or keep snacks and fresh fruit on hand from the many fruit stands out and about. Talk about full immersion! Amazing!
This is THE destination for a hiatus from everyday life, speaking from perspective of a United States citizen. You will leave feeling refreshed with a new appreciation for what the different places and cultures of the world have to offer.
I will definitely come here again when back in Belize!
Thank you

The hotel was in Santa Elana but only about 5 minute walk to San Ignacio Market. The hotel is quite but there is some street noise. The best part of this hotel is Lucy the owner. She is a great resource about what to see and do in the area

Nice hotel/backpacker very conveniently located near the bridge that connects San Ignacio to Santa Elena. Clean, comfortable accomodations with nice bathrooms and a helpful, cheery staff. A great base for doing eco/adventure tourism in the Cayo District.

Great value
The Inn is one of the better values in the area, right across the bridge from San Ignacio's downtown district, 5-10 minute walk. The owner, William, and his wife were very accommodating, and friendly. They even showed us to a very interesting Iguana exhibit in town. Would definitely recommend.

Good room for a fair price
I came to visit San Ignacio for a few days. Upon arriving by bus to the city, I asked around, and nobody knew where the Cocopele Inn was. Somebody brought me to a restaurant in the middle of town, insisting that was it. It was not. After searching all around town, finally I was able to find the hotel. Upon arrival, I was a bit confused, as there's no front desk. I opened a gate, which led to a little dark area, and there was Lucy, the manager. I feel bad for Lucy, as it seems she never gets a day off. Lucy was very kind though, and incredibly helpful. She made some great recommendations for things to do around the area during my visit.
The room was cute and quaint. Nothing fancy, but it had an air conditioner and a tv, as well as a shared kitchen area. The room was very clean when I arrived, though there was no housekeeping or anything during my stay. I'm sure if I had needed extra towels, Lucy would have obliged.
Overall, a comfortable room with friendly staff. I would definitely book again.
