The Hotel Peteani is a family-owned, professionally run, perfect little hotel a short walk downhill from the historic hilltop town center of Labin. Although it is on a fairly busy road running up the hill, it is super-quiet and peaceful. It is clean and well-maintained, staff are polite and genuinely helpful, beds are very comfortable. With few eating options nearby, the restaurant here takes on more importance. Breakfast is very good, although if you want real coffee instead of machine-instant you have to ask for it. The restaurant also serves dinner, which is a bit pricey but generally excellent; if you reserve a table, it seems to be yours for the night (warning: several nearby restaurants are closed on Mondays, even in high tourist season). Overall, the hotel seems to be committed to service; our host, Mr. Peteani, tracked down a pair of earrings my wife left behind, and mailed them to her, a kindness we will remember for a long time. Personally, I will seek out a reason to return to Labin just so I can stay in this outstanding hotel.

Ein kleines, feines Hotel in hervorragender Lage am Fuße der Altstadt von Labin — man muss nur noch den Berg hochlaufen. Das Herzstück ist der Service: Obwohl das Haus nur vierzehn Zimmer hat, ist die Rezeption durchgehend besetzt. Man wird sofort begrüßt, bekommt zu Ausflügen kompetente Beratung und trifft auf ausgesprochen aufmerksames Personal, das bestens auf Deutsch und Englisch kommuniziert. Die Zimmer sind solide und geschmackvoll eingerichtet — zurückhaltend im Design, aber hochwertig, nichts wackelt. Bequeme Sessel, ein kleines Sofa, ein Tisch zum Arbeiten, ein gut ausgestattetes Bad. An den heißen Tagen war die Kühle im Zimmer sehr angenehm. Ein realistischer Hinweis: Das Haus ist älter, nicht jedes Zimmer bietet großen Fernblick. Unser Zimmer hatte nur ein kleines Fenster und keinen Balkon — bei der Hitze völlig in Ordnung, und da das Haus an einer befahrenen Straße liegt, war die ruhige Zimmerlage sogar ein Vorteil. Wer tagsüber unterwegs ist und abends entspannt und kühl zurückkommt, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Auch das Frühstück passt: kein riesiges Buffet, aber gute Qualität, auf Wunsch ein frisch zubereitetes Omelett. Klare Empfehlung.

Sehr schönes und gepflegtes Hotel in bester Lage. Ich habe sogar 2 Nächte verlängert! Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Gehminuten vom historischen Stadtzentrum Labins entfernt. Das Zimmer war groß, sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und man kann es auch auf der gemütlichen Terrasse genießen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

Bellissimo hotel, con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Struttura nuova, camere molto spaziose in stile semplice e moderno. Anche il bagno e la doccia molto comodi. Nel giorno di pioggia abbiamo anche usufruito dell'area wellness, piccola ma confortevole. Anche il ristorante propone buoni piatti di carne e di pesce. Ci torneremo.

Komplett und liebevoll eingerichtetes Appartment. Zu Fuß nur ein paar Minuten in die Altstadt. Leider an einer vielbefahrenen Straße gelegen. In der Unterkunft hört man davon zum Glück nichts. Parkplätze vorhanden. Absolut zu empfehlen!

This was a perfect location and clean and comfortable. However, we couldn't get the shower to work. The next morning the receptionist said it was modern system with a pipe under the tub faucet however I did not detect any thing under the faucet when I looked.

Sehr freundliche und hilfreiche Hotel Mitarbeiter, die uns mit allen Fragen und Problemen weiterhelfen konnten, obwohl sie unterbesetzt waren. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte viele leckere Speisen zur Auswahl. Außerdem konnte man jeden Tag ohne Aufpreis zwischen Crêpes, Obstsalat, Omelette, Rührei und ähnliches wählen.
