We enjoyed our very short stay here. The host was very kind, the beds were comfy and the shower hot. A bit noisy but that is to be expected. Is lies a bit on the outskirts of the city center which we did not mind since we had an early pick up for our tour.

Super stay, super host.

Family room was a good size. Comfy beds and good bathroom. Breakfast nice. Our host Tote was very friendly and offered excellent travel advice, even coming up with a 3 day itenary for us. We hired a car from Calama and found travelling around easy, without having to book tours and enjoy the Atacama at our pace.

It was not only generous but also absolutely delicious – you can tell it’s made with love. The accommodation is clean, cozy, and well-located. Family Stay in San Pedro

The owner of the place is very helpful in organizing the trips as he himself is the organizer of the sky-watching tours. He is very happy to assist to give advice, so the stay is as pleasant as possible. This was the case with my visit. In addition, the experience facilitates understanding the way of life in the area as in fact one feels like staying with the family, as there is only 4 rooms managed.

The owners of Casa Sirius were wonderful people, and I'm thankful for their hospitality. Normally I wouldn't leave a bad review for a family run establishment, especially as lovely as this family, but the other reviews felt so misleading that I thought I would share my POV. If I were only using this hostel for sleep, the price would make it worth it. Unfortunately I got food poisoning (potentially from the breakfast but can't be sure), and had to spend my entire time in San Pedro trapped in my barren room. The bathroom window looked into the courtyard and was missing some pains of glass, making is awkward to go cause I was sick. There were no fans or air conditioning, and my only window was next to the family's door so I was kept up till late with noises from them and their dogs. There was only beds and a fridge, and I wasn't allowed to put my luggage on the beds. It was as far away from town as could be (25-30min walk on mostly dirt roads), which made it hard to get supplies to feel better. This is a good accommodation if you're on an extreme budget because San Pedro is very expensive, but I regret not spending more money for something a little nicer.

Hospedagem boa, espaço bom, bem limpa e organizada! O café da manhã deixa um pouco a desejar, acho que deveria ter mais opções (tinha pão, presunto queijo e 1 ovo por pessoa) o café era solúvel e somente isto. A hospedagem ficava um pouco longe do centro, dava uns 25 minutos a pé. Se você não se importa com um café da manhã mais elaborado é uma excelente hospedagem com ótimo custo, voltaria com certeza. Não foi algo que me impediu de curtir a viagem, mas gosto de informar pois sempre me preocupo com o café da manhã.O proprietário inclusive nos deus diversas dicas e nos levou até o centro algumas vezes, são muitos receptivos.
