The Distillery itself and the main building are beautiful. We stayed in a cabin and it was pretty run down and need of some TLC. The doors didn’t close well, the beds were old and rickety and overall the cabin needs some attention. The grounds are stunning and the restaurant was good. The service in restaurant and check in was great.

We had arrived early as the website had indicated there was music from 1 to 3 - which was not correct - but the desk clerk was gracious and allowed us to check in early. Our room was very clean. The lobby outside the dining room and entry at the stairs were both rather grubby which was most likely due to it having rained but even the next morning hey remained muddy and grubby. The brook and the grounds were charming. Aside from the gentleman who gave us the tour of the distillery we found the remainder of staff we engaged with to be very cool and not at all welcoming.

The stay was great! It was an overnight stay for us. We had a nice dinner at the resort and enjoyed some live celtic music. The food, service and staff were excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only complaint would be that the outside grounds were not kept up, but this could be because we were early in the system and they may not have had an opportunity to get at the spring cleanup.
