I loved my stay here, but checking in after hours was a bit troublesome. For a first-time visitor, there was no one on the premises to talk to, and I had to message the host. I was worried at first that I wouldn’t be able to get into our room. Eventually, we figured it out when we saw a key in the door and assumed it was ours.
One thing that would REALLY help travelers is having a Welcome or Guest Book in the lobby area with some basic information about the property and the local area. I had to ask some of the other guests about how to get around, restaurants, transportation options, luggage storage, etc. If you don't have a rental car it can be quite a walk to places. Taxis are $$$
For example, there is a short trail behind the property that is a shortcut to the main road, the town, and the bus stop. It would also be helpful to have taxi information, transportation options, nearby restaurants, and other useful tips for first-time visitors. A simple guest book with this information would make the stay much easier.
