The property is situated within walking distance of the main street and shopping. The hotel is quiet, secure and attractive with old world charm. The staff are exceptionally kind, friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant immediately opposite the hotel that is open all day and serves excellent food in a garden atmosphere.

As other reviews have said, the staff is wonderful and the restaurant across the street is very good. I visited in late June and it was very quiet. I stayed longer in Tonala in part because I enjoyed the hospitality at the hotel. Thank you. I’ll be back. If you’re going to use the buses when you’re in town, download Moovit app, it’s very good. And whatsapp is commonly used.

Very nice and comfortable small hotel. Very friendly and caring staff . Clean, hot/cold water, tea, coffee provided. All necessary amenities in room. Three blocks away from Main Street but safe walking. Many restaurants to choose. Will recommend this hotel to stay.

Charming place, with a quaint courtyard, was the perfect location for the Tianguis. This hotel doesn’t have any amenities so it was just a place to shower and sleep. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay again.
