Super cool small place with GREAT people. Everything was clean, the pool and shady area was great, and the amazing flora around the property is beautiful. The LOCATION was the best, situated at the end of a secluded street with almost no traffic and the beach literally a 2 minute walk around the corner. The location was very convenient, which was the main advantage of this place. The TV had no signal or channels available, so it served no real purpose. The room was reasonably comfortable, but I felt the price was a bit high for what was offered. The pool also did not appear to be very clean during our stay. Beautiful landscaped grounds, made if feel like you were in a jungle resort. All kinds of creatures with howler monkeys in trees just off out balcony the highlight. This is a wonderful hotel. They organised our transfer from the airport and we were able to buy breakfast when we arrived and use the pool until our room was ready in the afternoon. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to the town, although there are lots of restaurants closer. The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Villa Del Sol.

Loved being surrounded by the jungle. Short walk to the beach. Good air conditioning. The staff were friendly and kind. The cooked breakfast was a nice treat. The staff offered portable "beach" chairs, but they weren't really beach chairs, more like chairs used for an outdoor concert. We were expecting Tommy Bahama style beach chairs. This was our only disappointment.

This little taste of heaven is so relaxing and welcoming with it's garden like yard, pool and accommodations...and only 1 block from the beautiful and swimmer friendly Playas del Coco. If you want a secure and relaxing refuge without the hustle and bustle of a large hotel with tons of people, this is for you. It is slightly removed from the main shopping area of PdC but walkable with several restaurants within 10 minutes walk. I would definitely go back to Villa del Sol Boutique Hotel.
