Looked sketchy at first with a couple with boom box on the outside landing. Room clean and freshly painted. Bed adequate. No sub flooring so floor creaked and was cracked. We didn’t pay much and we knew it was given a 7.8 rating which is about right.

Haven't been to Vegas NM . Room wasn't cleaned yet. Had conversation with Larry he was rude and mean. Lots of family had to leave cuz no rooms were clean! I will NOT rent there again and I'll tell everyone not to rent from that hotel..

Amtrak train trip to Las Vegas New Mexico

Larry the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Along with that he was apologetic to me due to the hotel being renovated. The room is clean and comfortable. Along with that I felt safe I will be returning there for another visit

Good for a place to sleep for the night

Decent priced hotel for staying the night, just passing though. No breakfast that I could tell, maybe some coffee and pastries. Looked like they were updating the outside and some of the interior looked updated but needs work still. Beds were on the hard side for my liking but we all slept well, so it was nice! Would stay again if ever down that way again.

Very nice management. Unfortunately, the remodeling job has left a hazardous situation in which from the bedroom into the bathroom. There’s about a 2 inch or less abrupt step up, which is a trip hazard. The vacuum has been recently remodeled, which is nice, but someone may fall walking into the bathroom in the abrupt transition.
